You can ignore everything in that chart except for the Strength of Schedule pythag number. You won't know how to interpret the other stuff and it is tough to teach someone over the internet. Start off with the pythag number and read up on the other stuff as you have time.

But, kenpom calculates the pythag number from all the other stuff so we don't really need to understand the other stuff.

Exactly.

All the numbers are kenpom numbers, this is his site and his calculations. The first pythag number, the one right after the Win-Loss column, is not adjusted for strength of schedule. The one on the far right under strength of schedule is adjusted for strength of schedule. That number is given by factoring in everything else. So, you can ignore all the other stuff.

What you want to find are two teams where the dog has a higher strength of schedule pythag number.

Penn State is a play. A team that is .79 vs a team that is .67 is getting 13 points. However, Penn State is on the road and Purdue is tough at home, so I wouldn't go crazy on it.

If I got this right, then Arizona st is a 10pt 'dog to Wash st, but the SOS pyth number is higher for Arizona st., by quite a bit. I think I am reading like you said. If not, please call me a crackhead!
