you just won 3k on the pacers ml which was a horrible bet. i don't care if it won. if your betting the pacers ml against the hornets in this spot...not sure what to say. you'll get buried if you start believing to yourself the pacers are good, because they are not. the information you have accumulated from your "models" to this point in the season will destroy your bankroll if you use them in the playoffs so make sure you don't

I find that you have much better success doing a combination of spread + ML where on favs you bet enough on the ML to pay you a win AND cover the spread if it loses. And, on dogs you bet enough on the spread to pay you a win AND cover the ML if it loses. Stay away from parlays, I was only doing them because that was the rule of your thread.

Quarter and Halve bets are where the real money is. I need to find some books where they offer all quarters and both halves on the ML. I have a source for that bet but when I was posting these before on SBR too many idiots aggravated me because they could not find a place to make the bets. They didn't look either I'm guessing.

I don't bet playoffs in any sport. I don't even watch them. I would rather be watching girls' volleyball at the beach.

This is why I bet the Pacers today (Monday). The top number is New Orleans win % on the road, the bottom number is Indiana's win % at home. Indiana wins at home 53% of the time, New Orleans wins on the road 38% of the time, and Indiana was a small favorite -150 ML and -3 points on the spread.

Seemed like a no-brainer to me.

Exactly, based on the percentages it is a no brainer but then again it wasn't a no brainer at all based on the matchups and thats why you don't bet in the playoffs- no offense- but your models mean dick in the playoffs and all those that used models last year got exposed. Playoffs are about matchups and adjustments, and the real sharps watch film. Real gamblers betting 50k on the playoff games sit there and watch film all day. Line movement means nothing in the playoffs.

It's a shame you don't bet playoffs because that is where the real money is at for those that know the sport inside and out. For those that play by the percentages though the regular season is the way to go and this is where you can be profitable. Seems like you know what your doing for the most part. Good luck the rest of the way, i wll defintely check in here as i think its one of the better threads around

I don't have any lines yet, so these plays are not solid yet, if the lines are decent I will keep them, if any of the lines are off I will not make the play. Note, I am switching bet sizes from $$ to M&Ms because idiots were accusing me of lying about my bet size. Why don't they make their own thread and show us how smart they are? I'll update this later when lines are posted.
Bet sizes will be:
Dogs = 1 M&M risked on the ML, 2.2 M&Ms risked on the spread
Favs = 1.1 M&Ms risked on the spread, enough risked to win 2.2 M&Ms on the ML
