They're really simple once you get the hang. Think about a labby line as a pre-determined amount of money you want to make. You want to win X amount of money so your labby line sums up to X. Bet to win the sum of the first and last numbers of the line. A winning bet crosses off those 2 numbers, a losing bet adds one to the end. When you lose just add the amount you lost onto the line, since you want to regain your losses and still win X. If you even out your line after every loss then your bet size should always stay nice and comfortable, and even better you only have to win half as many as you lose for a line to clear.

in the most effective profit enhancing manner.....

Honestly if I had a bankroll large enough to stomach a loss like that, I would use the standard progression too. But I don't so I won't.

I cashed the GSW / Orlando game in the second half tonight. I realize that series already had its win, but I thought it looked good again. I think Im going to play most of the road trips out even if they technically win in the first game. One would think it should be more affective deeper into the road trip. You guys have any thoughts on doing this? I'll keep a record of how it goes for the 30 series in January and go from there.

jkim - this system is betting the halves of the last three road games of a three game road trip or more. Explained on page one.

Resurrection - I would be getting a book that offers 1st and 2nd halves, bookmaker and Pinnacle are the ones I use.

Regardless of the betting system, when you are covering almost 70% on the first play any betting system will work. The comments made about the Labourchere and restarts are familiar. I have seen all this before over the years of posting this system on different forums. I encourage any system that can reduce risk but it has problems when you have a series that goes several plays before a cover is made. I have seen many series with the road system with only 1 cover in 6 plays.

The Labourche will work if the system continues at this success rate. Again the problem is when a cover is not made until in deep in a series. Lets look at the only series when a cover was not made until the 4th play and apply the labourchere.

The following series covered on the 4th play which was the only cover for the entire series.

The way these 1/6 bets are hitting is unreal right now. Solaman yes that's the downside of using a labby is that you win less when a series goes past the 1st play. But the good thing is with a labby you only need to win half as many as you lose to break even, if you win more than half as many as you lose then your lines will clear. So even if a series goes to the 4th 5th or 6th play all you need is a few 1/6 to hit, and that sure is happening a lot now!

I'm so ticked!!!! The NBA.com website had the Dallas game tied at the half 40-40 for about 5 minutes after the half ended. I placed a second half bet for Dallas -1/2 which - of course - was double the first bet and also lost because the two teams finished even. So, I didn't know Dallas covered the first half until after I placed my bet. Thanks NBA.com for nothing!!!!

Good stuff. But like you say on page one you need to be in front of computer for all these games to make a play if it spills into the 2nd half. That will be tough for me.

Hey isg2010 what happened was dallas got fouled shooting a 3 as time expired so the refs were looking at the replay to see if there was any time left when he got fouled it took them 5 minutes or so to watch the replay and they put .3 seconds back. He made all 3 free throws. I saw what you saw also on yahoo. It said halftime also but i was watching the game live thank god.

I use ESPN on my Iphone for alerts aswell. I was out for a bit last night when that was going down in the Dallas game at the half. I was surprised when I refreshed and saw shooting 1 of 3 freethrows and he hit them all pushing the score over the spread. As far as being in front of a computer, again using a smart phone you can place second half bets on your phone aswell, Pinny, SB and BM take mobile bets. Crap I was in Jamaica a few months ago placing bets on my phone.... gotta love technology.

As far as following any other sytems?? This is the only one I use for the NBA, but as I posted earlier Im going to play the balance of the games out for each series and see what happens for the month of January. Working on some filters for the balance of the games. last night I won the other two games aswell. Memphis covered +.5 in the first half winning that one... barely... tied at the end of the first half. They covered the second half aswell, didnt bet it cause the first won. Sacramento lost the first half 40-54 but covered the second half 62-54 for another winner.
So for tonight there are five bets again, GS and ATL in their third games and POR, SA, and TOR in their second games. These are not plays in Soloman's system... I want to stress that!! All these series have been completed on his system, which is excellent and carrying on with the games may be foolish. Have to wait and see how the month goes. Im not sure if Im going to chase on to the third game if need be, I may cut my loss at 3 units and start fresh with 1 unit for game 3..... undecided?!?! One thing I thought about last night was skipping the Kings game because they are at the bottom of the rankings and have a below 500 record at home. But thought what the hell its only money and Im up so much with this system so far anyway.
Soloman if you want me to start a new thread with the continuation bet results I will. Just let me know. I wont post all the plays and results on here.... its not that difficult to follow along with your monthly sked you have posted. C&P it to a word or adobe doc and keep track on your own folks. I dont want to take away from whats important here and thats this system. Thanks again for the effort you put forth I really appreciate it!!
