Yes, I'm on both actually. Spurs are the ultimate playoff team. Suns are the ultimate anti-playoff team. Them beating a short handed Blazers team proves nothing to me.

In three games this season, the Spurs allowed 110, 112 & 116 to the Suns. How do you see the Spurs stopping this offense now when they couldn't before?

IMO each game in this series will be dominated by the home team.

hmm where to start; spurs always been that team to spoil the suns dinner every year..... then when they got em on the ropes horry drops steve nash which leads to suspensions= game over....stole a championship by a BS rule, dont think these teams dont remember the past....

Spurs won one of those games, and Suns still dont have the horses to play D. Especially in their 2nd Unit with Frye at C.

But like I said up top. I dont count the last meeting b/c of the circumstances the Spurs were in. B2B. Third game in three nights.

Also when do prior meetings become null & void to you? The first time these teams played was December 15. 5 months ago. Lots has changed since then. IMO Spurs have gotten stronger.

Absolutely. However, you can make the exact same statement about the Suns.

Your analyzing the series as a whole, when you really should be analyzing this individual game. Much different.

I think your right Houli. Grant Hill will guard Ginobli but nash/dragic won't be able to keep up with parker/hill. looks like sharps are on Spurs and to me Jaron Collins/Channing Frye won't be able to stop Duncan. Amare will get his points but don't forget the suns 3-22 SU record on TNT. I am just so used to watching the Suns loose on TNT it is hard for me to bet them. Maybe that curse is over with their 3 wins coming this season and the last 2 against the blazers (2-2 on tnt in playoffs thus far). Anyway I think your spot on, GL.

I agree with this, however I have a hard time believing that the Spurs can stop Amare or Richardson. Nash only put up 33 tonight because the Spurs did a good job of disrupting his outlet passes, forcing him to finish rather than pass. Parker will (or should) start in Game 2 as the Suns had no answer for him, and the small lineup with Duncan in the middle was very effective in the 2H. Should be a great game, and much tighter. I like the Spurs 1H a lot as well.

I thought Spurs had a chance in the 3rd, but Suns hit those consecutive threes. They score so quick.

Spurs have to score at least 108+ to win on the road in Phoenix.

You have nothing to prove houli your one of the more consistent guys here, gurranteed this kid loses thousands of dollars a year gambiling. Spurs ML was a strong play and had a lot of value even thow it lost. BOL in the future.

Congrats on beating the Spurs for the first time. You had to wait until Tim Duncan was a couple years from retiring B4 you guys could win this series.

Spurs 4 Championships.

Suns NONE.

Suns = no chance against Lake Show.
