Going to give the 3's a shot again since I am pretty much up to even on it. Not sure of my breakdown, tho, as Greek has 15.5 at +125 and Carib & Dimes 15 @ -115
Probably give Howard and Garnett a chance on the over points, Howard at 19 & Garnett at 14
And for chits & giggles taking a gander at Howard over 6.5 -105 free throws made at Dimes. Maybe hack a Howard will return and he can make a few extra.

Prop #46: [Game 6] Ray Allen Total Points OVER 16.5 [-105]
This is more of a gut feeling than a statistical play as Allen has only beaten this number twice in this series with 22 & 25 point games. He has 48 shots from the floor in the first five games with double figure shot attempts in 4 of 5. For me, Allen has to be more of a factor in Boston's attack. The Celtics are missing something in the past two games with Pierce still too often bogging the offense down with iso plays. Getting Allen more touches means the Celtics could try and wear down Redick defensively when he is in the game. Redick has torched the Celtics off the bench in the last two games and they have not found a solution for him. Could be that making him work on defense would help there. He beat Orlando for better than this number twice in the regular season too. I think he needs a dozen or better shot attempts and would certainly do well to drive a little more to draw some fouls. Ya feel me? Hopefully Allen does.

Good call, Eagles. 3's prop in again for the 5th straight time. Maybe another game or two for value & that is LAL/PNX. I think most of the value will be out of the prop if it's LAL/BOST...I'm finally up $ on this prop for the playoffs, maybe it's time to put this baby to sleep, we'll see.
Thanks Howard for another explosive game, but I could have used another free throw out of you. Didn't get hurt too bad by that, like I mentioned, chits & giggles (lunch money only)

Depends where the number is set if it's Boston-LA. If the books are lazy and they usually are, they'll probably set it solely based on the regular season three point stats which would probably mean 12 or 12.5. Could actually make the UNDER a pretty solid play depending on how high the number is set. Both regular season meetings had 9 makes in each I believe. I'd much rather get the Suns and play the over personally, but that's my preference most nights.

LA-PHX tonight is at 15.5. I'm either going over there tonight or I am looking at one other one that seems a little too good right now.

Nice call on the Ray Allen play last night, Eagles. I was also on it, and am glad he stepped up. I'm planning on taking Derek Fisher PTS+ASST over 12.5 tonight. What do you think about this play (good call or wishful thinking that he'll have another good game)?

Yeh, I'd rather have PNX, too.............without them I don't think I wqould go an over. Doubt they'll set it at less than 12.

Tough call there. Just depends if he's the guy left open when they zone up or not. Seems like it would have a decent shot though.

How do you feel about Frye's total points/assists/rebounds over 15.5 at -130. He's been hit or miss in the playoffs at home but when he hits it's easy over.

Finals should be interesting. 3 point prop is one I think you should watch in Game 1. UNDER was strong in the regular season, but the Lakers really shot the 3 better in the post-season than they did in the regular season. Remember in the 2007-2008 finals, there were plenty of threes. If it's 12-12.5, I may think about the over. I think the match-ups I will be looking at are the Rondo props as I think he may torch Fisher and company. I also think Kendrick Perkins may actually have himself a decent series as Bynum's limited mobility should potentially keep him out of foul trouble and perhaps lend him to getting some rebounds and points. Looking at the finals a couple years back, Ray Allen actually had a solid series even with Kobe on him. Can't expect Pierce to replay his final series with Artest guarding him.

No solid opinions, yet, but I do expect Artest to give Pierce a very hard time. Plus he's never been in the finals, I don't think, much less not having a ring. He looks fired up...........which sometimes doesn't amount to the ball bouncing the right way, but should keep him all over Pierce.

Just started to look at props for tonight. Spotted a couple that might fit the bill. May play two props per finals game, haven't made up my mind. That 3 prop at 12 is a tough call. Regular season, they didn't sniff anything close to double digits combined, but I think the Lakers are shooting the 3 better in the postseason. Opposite side of the coin is Boston will be the best defensive team they have faced and they shut down the most prolific three shooting teams in the East in Cleveland and Orlando. Probably best to see a game go by for that prop before deciding over or under for Game 2. I would still trend to the OVER because 12 is not a lot if these two teams decide to air it out some.

Prop #48: [Game 1] Rajon Rondo Total Assists OVER 9.5 [-130]
I'm not quite sure how effective Rondo will be scoring, so I chose the assist prop over points for Game 1. In the two regular season meetings, Rondo dished out 23 assists, netting double figures in both games. He has hit for double digit assists in the playoffs in 8 of Boston's 17 games so far, including 2 of the 3 Game 1s they have played. Rondo also dropped 12 dimes in each of the two regular season meetings in 2008-2009, making it four straight double digit assist games vs. LA. I don't see how Derek Fisher can keep up with his quickness which should result in Rondo being able to break down the defense when he chooses. If Kobe is used as a hedge to keep him out of the lane, that will leave some easy assists to open shooters.

Pierce Points UNDER 18.5

Ray Allen over 15.5 points is a good play with Artest on Pierce, Allen should see more shots

That's one I'd rather watch first. Kobe can shut him down if he wants to, I think. Remember Allen had 22 in the meeting when Kobe did not play, but only 7 when he did.

EP, Kobe is going to switch onto Rondo once Fisher leaves the game and Vujacic will come in to guard Ray Allen.

You should know that Kobe won't be chasing Ray around screens for very many possessions.....
