Live free or die hard. Orlando's formula is easy, hit threes and you have a chance. They may get smoked, but I think they're going out with guns blazing. Rashard Lewis wake up. Jameer Nelson wake up. Vince Carter, FU. Celtics have been solid at getting 5 of 6 threes in each game and I won't expect necessarily for that to change. 1 out of 4 games isn't asking much, right? Roll.

Prop #43: [Game 4] Ron Artest Total Points + Rebounds OVER 17.5 [+100]
Artest has beaten this number in all three of the games so far in this series with 12/6, 18/5 & 14/5. In fact, he has beaten this number in 5 of the last 6 playoff games. The Suns continue to let Artest beat them if he can as he has taken 18 three point attempts among the 36 shot attempts he has in this series. Artest has been active enough to get at least 2 FT attempts per game as well, although more would be nice for this prop to hit. He's playing right about 40 minutes per game which should give him ample opportunity. Getting those nice even odds again too, so let's rock it.

I don't like this one, guy. Artest shot terribly last game. I think he focuses more on D tonight and cuts his fga's way down. <10 points tonight I think.

Would think the 3 prop Over is decent tonight too, but I'd rather find it at 14.5 than 15, so passing. Suns should bounce back with a good perimeter game I think.

Artest looks decent at half, at 10 with sitting out 7.5 minutes. Hopefully he plays the whole 2nd half and he should cause Shannon Brown blows.

I'll take my chances on that prop with two threes at the end. Hurt that he didn't get more rebounds or any FTs which I thought he was going to get on the one drive when Hill fouled him. Still not sure why that wasn't a shooting foul. Oh well.

Prop #44: [Game 5] Kevin Garnett Total Points OVER 13.5 [-125]
So Rashard Lewis decided that after Orlando won Game 4 and he actually showed a blip of life that THAT would be the best time to tell the world he's been fighting a viral infection for this entire series. Why not put a Bull's Eye on your back Rashard? It's certainly not their best match-up, but Boston should be looking to feed KG the rock more regardless of Lewis' health. Garnett certainly has gotten shot attempts in most of this series with 14, 16, 6 & 12. The thing KG needs to do more IMO, is be aggressive and get to the FT line. There's no reason he shouldn't be backing down the lighter and weaker Rashard Lewis. He does have to contend with his length, but still has the bulk advantage to get himself in solid position to get points or get to the line. Garnett has only beaten this number once in the series and that came in Game 4 with 14 points, but mostly to me he hasn't scored more because he's missing open shots. He's just 18 of 48 from the floor this series for under 40%. Game 4 he started 4 for 4, but hit just one of his next right shots. KG just did not seem aggressive after the first half. Will that change tonight? I think a day to fume over the antics that led to his technical foul and all the chit chat in the media will fuel the Celtics unquestioned emotional leader. If he continues to get open looks, make them, it's simple.

Finally had a good night as I got really pissed and threw some xtra on the 3's. Didn't get on Garnett, but went small on Rondo over (w) and medium on Howard over 19.5 pts. Debated whether to throw in his blocks, which is a (w) but didn't. Howard becoming one of my favorite forces, although he/that is not a secret, by any means.
Hope they start throwing some bricks on the 3's, the prop will be no value next time around. It's hit over the last 3 games, right, 2 Bost/Orl & 1 Pnx/Lal.
That prop should have been a money maker much earlier in these 2 series by my calculations.

Prop #45: [Game 5] Kobe Bryant Total Assists OVER 7.5 [-115]
Three straight games, Kobe has hit for double digit assists. Only in Game 1 did he have less with just five assists. I think as long as the Suns continue with the zone, Kobe will have more opportunities to be able to pass and hit teammates. He's been almost the perfect blend of selfish and unselfish in this series, knowing when he needs to step up and take the shots and when to hit teammates. I'm banking on a big all-around game from Kobe tonight.

Oh yeah, KG is a bitch. He should have had at least 14, probably 16-18. Missed a lay-up and 2-3 open jumpers that when KG is right, he knocks down easy.
