Seems like too many points for two garbage teams. What's Washington's motivation to blow anyone out or even win? Season is over. They've had playoff hopes for the last two weeks and proceeded to lose five of the last seven, so obviously them having motivation means nothing.

Yeah, it is in games like this garbage teams like WSH, SAC, MIN might choose to "shine". GL to you. BKN really has no motivation, except for some motivation to tank.

Broolyn's pick is owned by the Celtics. There's no tank motivation for teams like the Nuggets(own the Knicks pick, with their own going to the Raptors), Knicks(don't have their own pick) or Nets(have to pick at all).

They just decided to shut down Lopez/Young to have a look at the scrubs they have... who are fighting for contracts. Of course, this hasn't prevented them from getting blown out multiple times recently, including at home last time out against the depleted Pelicans.

If you look at the Wizards schedule, they still have some thin hope. They will play the Pistons next, so if the Pistons lose in Orlando tonight, things get interesting. They need the Pistons to lose three times(1 against them). Chicago will lose one or two against Miami/Cleveland.

The Wizards have the tiebreakers advantage over the Pistons and Bulls.
