So after an extended hiatus that saw me chanting mantras from a Tibetan mountaintop, I return to the civilian world to find that GIVEMETHEMONKEY was calling out to me in despeation, an appeal akin to the the Bat signal projected into the night sky in times of distress...



Yep, after two months of solitary confinement, this poor sap was still talking to me... invoking my name, hoping to conjure up my departed spirit. Clearly, he missed the company.

Apparently, even in absence, I hold such great power over him and his thread, that he still holds me solely responsible for when things aren't going as well as he had drawn them up in his ailing mind. It's always someone else's fault with GMTM. "Accountability" is not a word in GMTM's repertoire... mostly because it has too many syllables, but also because it's definition is lost on him.

Sourtwist, if guys like you had been around when GMTM needed you most, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. Sure, you conveniently appear when you notice a fellow retard under duress, but had you truly cared, you wouldn't have abandoned him in the first place, giving rise to yet another emotional breakdown from your brain-dead brethren. So don't act like your his compadre now, eager to circle the short buses and fight the good fight on his behalf. You had your chance, but sought leisure elsewhere, most likely in the pages of coloring books.

It's quite obvious to both myself and GMTM, that he needs me more than he'll ever admit. My presence is his muse. It gives him something to sink his teeth into and gets the keystrokes going. I don't care to fulfill that role in his life, but he is not ready to relinquish his safety blanket without an epic tantrum. He intuitively knows that the only time traffic picks up in this thread is when I'm on hand, with my massive box office appeal.

See, the brutal truth is, when I'm not around, GMTM is left talking to himself, post after post after post... usually followed by some of begging, along the lines of "Well, where is everyone? I wanna hear what you guys think." It's quite a tragedy to witness, akin to a dog who's lost it's owner, but still waits by the door, hoping for a homecoming that will never come to pass.

And of course GMTM will always level his usual spate of empty threats against me, in the form of tattle-tales. I've never seen a grown man so quick play the very card that most five-year-olds keep shuffled in the deck, but that speaks to the arrested development of GMTM that I've alluded to countless time. Let's face it, I'm more than happy to stay out of this thread, but he's not having any of it. He possesses to power to keep me at bay, but refuses to exercise it.
