Wizzle's 2013-2014 NBA Thread

Hey Twizz; Hopefully you get this sooner rather than later, but I wanted to ask if you think we should jump on the Tenn/Mich game over NOW. This morning it was at 132 and I checked it again a half hour later and it already jumped to 133.5. This total seems really low. the other day they had the Tenn game set at 130.5, which was really low; so much so many stayed away because they thought it was a trap. The game went over with ease. I've been watching and the oddsmakes have been way off on these Tenn game totals. Also, this is a big and quick jump on a game that is more than two days away. Anyway, please share your thoughts when you get this.

Pelicans are hot and we are getting 7 there at home. Might need to take that one.

I'm liking New Orleans a lot.

Clippers could be looking ahead to a bigger matchup in Dallas tomorrow.

Also they have embarassed the Pelicans by 13, 13, and 32 so far this year (they were up by 20 in both games they won by 13 before taking their foot off the gas). It could just be a bad matchup but I think the Pelicans make it a game this time.

Thinking about the Knicks in the bounceback spot but that team has already proven they have no heart so who the fukk knows if they even care about bouncing back.

Other leans would be Toronto, Nets, and Wolves but I would be smart to leave those alone as my "weak" leans never seem to win.

Heat/Pacers Under 186 -103 (2x)

It looks like sharp money is on the Heat as this line has dropped but I'm going with Indy. Neither team is playing well so I expect more of a grind it out type of game. Roy Hibbert always plays a huge role in these games and I expect that to happen again tonight. Even with Oden, the Heat still have a really hard time matching up with him. This should be a low-scoring game but as is often the case, the Pacers will come up with the plays at home to get the W.

Puts me over the 150 Unit plateau on the season. Really really proud of how consistent I've been all year. I think a couple guys made comments that with me it's a very up and down ride but that hasn't been the case at all.

Great job pal. Amazing consistency like you say. I had that until about a month ago and since it's been rocky ups and downs. Still up huge though so it's all fine.

Hey you bet $100 units though right? I'm just doing $40 in here although I will bump that up to $50 in the playoffs. I intended to do 50 during the regular season but I was using a local earlier in the year and it didn't make sense to have half a unit be $25 at -110 juice (which rounds up with a local obviously).

£100 which is about $165 (it may all be relative though perhaps you can do about the same things with a dollar in the states as with a pound here. not sure.)

$50 will work for me. If I love something I'm willing to ramp it up to $1000 for a play and even more if I really like it but $50 is where I'm at with the college picks and it's where I'd be in nba if I hadn't started the year doing $40.

Yeah I'd say you probably bet a tad more units/play than I do but that said the max play has been about in the 8-10 unit range for both of us.

In the playoffs I'm gonna try and keep it the same way, 10 max but maybe increase the unit size. We'll see.

Tomorrow's card looks like shit. I sort of like the Bucks but I hate betting games between bottom 5 teams. Some interesting matchups on Friday though.

They'll bounceback from last night. Clippers are just a better team and will come up with the plays late. Dallas would be -1.5 if books liked em.
