Wizzle's 2013 NBA Playoff Thread

I'll update after each round. Everything is in my spreadsheet for the playoffs this year. I was tracking my nba during the regular season in there as well. Was well down until stopped tracking plays in my thread and on the spreadsheet but started back up for the new thread.

Grizzlies Series Price +155 (10x)

Was waiting for this line. Expected OKC to take Game 1 and from the looks of things I'm pretty lucky they did. Memphis is the better team but they don't have a true perimeter threat who they can rely on late in games so that is my main concern. Much like in the Clippers series, I expect the Grizzlies to wear down OKC but really this will come down to whether they can limit KD and whether OKC's role players are making open jumpers. I'll likely take Memphis in Game 2 and they should head back home with the split. Love getting them at +money here for the series though so this is a no-brainer play.

I was seeing like +590 places. Pinnacle had +650.

Local still has +700. Line just dropped at pinnacle and 5dimes from 700 to 650.

I'm not doubting Golden State's ability to cover and win a few games at home but the series will be tough. They need to win one of the first two in San Antonio.

As for the Grizzlies, I think they win game two. OKC was lucky to win game one and Memphis is only +125 on the ML. All signs point to a Memphis win.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see the Grizzlies win three straight go up 3-1, OKC wins game 5 at home, Memphis closes it out in game 6.

Price doesn't really matter I would have been happy with the +650 but local still had 700 so obviously I took that.

Thought about passing on series price and taking warriors game by game on the ml small but decided not to pass it up.

From just watching this game, you would have to like Golden State getting 8 here...

I won't bet the second half. Kinda worried the Spurs will go on a 3-pointer barrage and GSW will go cold. Just hope to hit the +9.5 right now.

I think it's pretty telling that the Warriors are only +180 to win the game when they were +450 before the game.

The +9.5 looks really solid.

It's either Warriors or no play for me but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to play it. I already missed the 9.5.

I really don't think the Warriors will win this series but that doesn't mean that won't be competitive and be profitable against the spread.

Most books have -8 and Pinny has -7.5 and is collecting juice....

Warriors getting a lot of points around the basket. Not a good sign for San Antonio because if they are forced to collapse it will lead to wide open perimeter looks for these shooters.

From someone that doesn't have any money on the game, in my opinion, the Spurs got all of the calls the last four minutes.

Thompson's 6th foul was BS. Parker kept initiating contact and then flopped as he fell out of bounds. Then there was a BS charge call on Curry in the lane.

Yea I'm not going to complain really about the calls, this was a GSW meltdown. The only one that bothered me was the loose ball foul that gave Diaw the two free throws. That was kinda b.s. in my opinion.

It seemed like it turned South when Thompson fouled out.

Either way, I've seen Golden State cough huge leads several times the past few years. It's a symptom of being young and inexperienced.

This can all be attributed to Leonard being put on Steph. Jarrett Jack should have had the ball every possession down the stretch and he didn't. I put that on Jackson.

Agreed. Knicks may win, but they won't cover the spread. Melo obviously isn't close to 100%, he's grimacing everytime he shoots the ball.

I missed the first half. Only needed to watch a few minutes here to see who the better team is. Knicks could make a run since they are at home but Indiana looks too tough for them.

Both offenses look shitty right now. It's just that Indy's hitting threes and Knicks aren't. Most of the Knicks shots have been wide open. Only thing I see is the drives from Melo and JR looking for contact and not getting the call.

In the end of game 1, he was also hit by a cameraman, with his camera... check it out.

Pacers have a post presence though. Knicks do not unless Melo goes to the block. That is the difference.
