pacers -6.5 *-6 in some places already! prolly bcoz of tj ford being out(?)

pacers love coming back home. they normally play good. teams that they beat at this situation are the celtics, nets and hawks. losses came on 2 overtimes (bobcats & celtics) and a 2 pt loss to 76ers. to sum that up, it's either a big win (against good teams) or a close-game loss. with that said, im already liking them at this spot against these stumbling warriors. add the after effect of that beat down they did to wizards on the road and SU win by pacers is as solid as it can get. with pacers 5-4 home ats and gsw 5-9 away ats, also pacers being the scrappier of the two... u have ur reason on taking chances on them to win ATS. the only way i see gsw covering is if they get 20+ pts from s.jackson (which he hasnt done in recent games as he is actually playing through pain), other than that, pacers will have their way as every team does with these backboneless warriors.

but not to belittle (so much the gsw) here's an angle for gsw backers. gsw will give it their 'bestest' effort to get a win in indiana. it's their 1st of 5 road games (within 7 days). so really the next four is just gonna get tougher for them. so yeah, they'll gonna bring their A game but without maggette and not a 100% s.jackson, they'll falter in the end. but if it gets close, hopefully the 84.3ft% (last 5 games) will pull indiana to get the cover.

And now comes the difference between Detroit teams of the past, and the Detroit team of now.In the past they would fade in the 3rd quarter, and then blow teams off in the 4th quarter. let's see if they have the mettle to be called Pistons. Philly got the cover, but I didn't get my team total. So that game was kind of a wash....Whatever...5 points short... that 3rd quarter did me in. Littlebastards. I think that they had a little shock for a minute when Elton Brand went down with the injury. He will be out for a while with a shoulder seperation. However, because of his absence, i am taking them in their next game on Friday, when they play these same Wizzleskins especially if they manage to cover against the Pistons tonight!

It's only $50.00. What Ii did was take the most unlikely of events that would happen and paired them together. Of course I felt that the Pistons wouldn't cover in the 2nd half. That's exactly why I DID take them. You have to think outside of the box when doing this thing of ours, and sometimes you have to do the exact opposite of what you think you should do. And since this was a crap shoot, i took them instead of taking the Wizards, which is what my mind was telling me to do.

well, there went my ML... but, if that 4 holds, i'm still up and i'll take the value sweetener on hawks ML any time. i still won hawks at half and hawks 2Q and 3Q so i can't be that upset.. but damn that boston love is pretty scary to bet against... don't know if i'll be inclined to do that again for a while

And Spoon to add to that type of thinking, I may end up taking the Bulls in the 2nd half if the number is right! The rebounds go to the Clips 22-20, the shooting is 52% to 40% in favor of the Bulls, 6 offensive rebounds for the Clips and 3 for the Bulls. The free throws are killing the Clips 8-14 to 10 out of 12 for the Bulls, and lastly, the turnovers are 7 for the Clips and 4 for the Bulls. So if the Clips make their free throws and cut down on their turnovers, then we have ourselves a good ballgame. They have given away 6 points on free throws alone. I think it's sae to take the Clips in the second half for those intersted in playing it. I am laying off of it, as I have vested as much money tonight as I wanted to already.

i still made money on the game though... i played it from a few angles and watched it... i had hawks half and game with points and only put a small piece on the ML, but made it back and some playing the hawks in the 2nd and 3rd quarters so i'm only so upset, but that ML multiplier always turns a good night into a great night... either way, it was a winning bet and i knew the celtics would have to eek it out so i'm happy with it. NJ is what pissed me off, i should have played them at half... i'm thinking that's where i should start fading the jazz cuz they've gotta start winning more on the road this year, i did take them in the second half though, well if the clips can come back and take this one, it's still a legitimate winning day, so i'm still in good shape
