In the NBA, that was a wide open shot bro. Kobe closed hard but Green had already lifted and had a clean look. If you can't hit that shot a minumum of 4/10 times you are doing something else for a living.

Spurs have nobody to defend Dwight Howard (around the basket) and really nobody for Kobe either, but this game came down to coaching. Lakers had a typical disjointed effort against a veteran team that is coached by arguably the best coach in the game while they leaned on there substitute teacher for guidance late. Pop could have taken the Lakers and beat his Spurs last nite.

Spurs ran a good play and made the shot that count the most, but the game could of gone either way, no one can really predicted who the winner was before the game was over. Spurs just got the better end of the game last night because of good coaching and good play at the end.

There is really no need to argue or to brag about anything about this game, it's already over. Let's move on to today's games. Let's go Heat !!!

No in depth writeup for this game but I will state some of my reasons. Miami lost this game last year I'm pretty sure @ the Clippers when Clipps were playing with Billlups. This is not the same Clippers team. I think they are overvalued and poorly coached. They will not do any damage in the West this year unless they have a legit 2. Willie Green is not someone that's going to be able to guard a guy like D Wade and I can see Del Negro most definitely toying with the idea of having Paul play the 2 at times in this game to guard Wade and shifting Bledsoe to the point.

Caron Butler has definitely lost a step and Lebron will play better on the road this year than at home imo. Deandre Jordan is getting better everyday but he is not used to guarding guys like Bosh that stretch him that far out. Griffin also likes to cheat and stay in the paint so expect Battier to get a few open looks. A guy like Crawford can shoot your entire team in or out of a game and with a variety of defenders to guard him tonight, I doubt he will see many clean looks. I wouldn't be surprised to see Battier guard Blake Griffin as Griffin is not really a good post player and savvy enough to dominate that matchup downlow. Look for Chalmers, Noris Cole, Wade, and Lebron all to guard Paul at some point in this game. Impossible to stop CP3 but unlike most pg's I'd rather have Paul set up his teammates than shoot the ball himself.

Miami has the much better bench with most likely the 6th player of the year in Ray Allen, Mike Miller, Lewis, Haslem and this Clippers team is not disciplined on the perimeter imo.

goat is one of the few people i respect and will tail on NBA(your nfl picks are off, but so are mine lately). impossible to be a 100% or 85% capper but you're pretty sharp on your analyzing of games and teams. don't overthink schemes and matchups.
