you could swing with all your might a pillow-case loaded with a half-dozen full cans of Fosters, and hit Diego Sanchez flush on the noggin, say 5 or 6 times and the dude'll keep standing and fighting back (that's basically the story of the Melendez-Sanchez fight)...most amazing combination of chin/heart i've EVER seen
...only thing to compare it with was how ClayGuida took all sorts of dead-on Sanchez fists, elbows, and knees in their fight a few years ago...until last night the best three-round war i'd ever seen...so Sanchez has been in easily two of the greatest damage-filled fights ever recorded...
Sanchez, ClayGuida, Korean Zombie, and Frankie Edgar have shown repeatedly over a whole pile of fights that they are the Energizer Bunnies from hell...remind me of the old tag-line for Timex watches...they "take a lickin'...and still keep tickin'"
the last two numbered UFC's were exceptionally good...Bones-Gustafson at 165 and Cain-JDS at 166 also outstanding wars...but a video of yesterday's Sanchez-Melendez bout is something extra-special to put into an MMA "time capsule"
