The 8- Fredo (ML 15-1, went off at 21-1), yet DD would have paid $259. It seems a bit strange to me. While I’m still not totally agreeing with the call, I am just upset that caused me one grand. I think if the jockey were Prat, that objection probably wouldn’t have been called IMO. This jock was a newly graduated apprentice. Sorry STR, I’m just venting. Hope all is well with you.
If this jockey does not get days, they might as well stop giving days. He never looked, just came over. He did not take into consideration his horse switching to the left leg into the turn which is 3-4 ft. of movement to the inside. He jammed up 3 horses in the race . Too me, it was reckless endangerment, plain and simple.

Sometimes those daily double payouts can be weird. Because the 2 horse was 12-1 ML, the daily doubles were gagged on 12-1 not 24-1. So that probably has something to do with it. That and the inside numbers almost always get more play than the outside numbers as compared to their actual odds. It's a bettors mentality thing I guess, but it is common to see.

And hey Mr. GandT, you have every right to be upset . Losing a dime on a stupid, bone head move that was not necessary by that rider is brutal . He could have laid all over that horse legally down the backside, pinned his right eye and that horse would likely have run much worse that he did. It was a stupid move. Period. And no way Prat ever makes that move. He is every bit as great as this kid is mediocre or worse. Don't know him at all, but now I'm pissed at him for screwing you up for 1,000 bucks.

That is a tough beat my friend.

Vent away and get it all out. Great pick on your part. Lean on that going forward. Controlling speed on the outside is a sweet advantage when ridden correctly. That jock screwed it up. Hopefully he learns from that.

Very nice wager sir. That should not get lost in all this.
