2025 plays

When I saw the chart, I had to watch the replay. The horse broke very sluggishly, like he was disinterested. I have no clue what that was about. Blinkers ON usually means ready, set, go with energy. Not today. The rider gets the horse running after several strides and the horse proceeds to run off and fight the bit all down the backside.
Watching that, this horse just doesn't get it. Sluggish, runoff, no relax, then relax, and then tired. Still tried but tired.
This one needs to get it's head in the game. That is now on the trainer. The horse is currently lost mentally.
Sorry about that pick. I guess that 46 and change work was all just running off with no purpose.

signs of talent were there and ,as you know, stuff like this happens..sure they'll be other good opportunities


seems to me based on his pp's and what you said if they did get this horse's head right there's probably some ability there..his trainer is one of the better one's out there so hopefully he'll be able to over the course of his next few starts

I looked at Charlie Foxtrot at Santa Anita .

I have been in this game since 1988. I believe Santa Anita had the first million-dollar race. Probably the SA Derby.
Been to MGM Vegas for the national championships, four players from my home track went. Quarter horse representing
my home track national championship at Lone Star. I like the time and effort put into your plays. Always worth a look
and decide if I like your horse picks or pass. i have passed on winners and bet losers. Other way around also.
I look at this game as entertainment. Alot of negative years. You may spend $20,000 a year to join the country club
or you may spend your money on what you personally enjoy.

I am heading over to the track so I will check this when I am there but... in the 1st race help me with what I am missing.

I see Shug with an Uncle Mo that looks ready to graduate going 2 turns for the 1st time. That 7/8ths race off the bench is a solid performance at a tricky distance first time back and only a non effort going 6F in his debut.
I also see Motts horse, Sansone who also had a terrible debut, got time and came back going 2 turns and ran a real nice 2nd in his 2nd start. Am I wrong that these two stand out over the field??
Program odds say both are like 5 or 6-1? Seems ridiculous but help me out. Haven't done this in a while. Hopefully, it's like riding a bike when I attempt it today. Lol.

think this is a wide open race str and lots of ways to go with single digit odds ..obviously you saw that I'm on the 2 cromwell..feel running the way he did in his debut at kee was decent..2 nice efforts at FG..just kind of an even run last out but reminds of his debut and coming back in a similiar amount of time..very expensive ,well bred and ridden by one of the best ..a little camouflaged off last race so you getting a little value imo

suppose there's something to be said for price fluctuations is just an inherent part of the game..that 10-1 ml can go off way higher,lower or around that price and if you're judging somebody's performance you just have to keep this in mind

the bigger question is what does keeping track accomplish ..it will tell you how well you did in the current sample but does not even come close to evaluating how well you'll do over the long haul .. so you finished with a .88 this time but quit in the 60's the time before that ..over many thousands or 10's of thousands of races you'll probably end up like most in the .77 to. 85 range
..so keep doing it and proving nothing;it's your time not mine

Tracking is for players that want to monitor how they are faring. Some skin in the game. Also too give people a chance to see if you are hot or cold. Not like you who throws down plays with no accountability. Not sure what your motivation is in posting plays? I mean you give out post times so I assume you want people to tail? And then give you props when you get lucky and hit a 10/1 shot. Meanwhile your previous 25 plays were losers. See what I am saying? Anyhow you and me are average cappers imo. Nothing less nothing more.

I know you have a reputation to protect on here at SBR. But I am not buying it. You and I go along way back with the game and we see things in a different perspective. All good. Keep doing what you do and I will do what I do. If my state would ever make Parimutal betting live (it's legal)I would be playing on a site like NYRA Bets at times. I understand you don't bet real coins much so SBR is your outlet. Just wish you would have more transparency but you choose a different course. No worries. Have a good day.

results without final odds is useless imo ..if I give out a 10-1 ml and lose I want it to be known whether it was 3.5-1 or 35-1 ..that takes time that I'm not willing to put in

if people don't want to follow that's fine and would've saved a lot of money this year ..there have been some very good streaks over the years also and I don't report when they're happening either

bottomline people can choose to do what they want and I'm not trying to hide anything .. if you need current results to make your decision whether to follow someone than I'm not your guy

^LOL just pointing out Optional that JBEX does not give results of his action. But he chooses to give times of post so players can tail if they so choose, I am of the opinion that if you take the time to post a play (and add a time of post ) then take the time to update SBR Nation of your performance. That way players know if you are cold or on a heater. This 2025 thread has been stone cold. Nothing wrong with that as it is a tough game. But for players that don't follow the thread and decide to tail one bored day they should be able to check the posts to see how the man is performing. That is my 2 cents. Have a good day.

because it takes an extra 5 seconds to put the time up while recapping with results and odds (which is a must to me) takes a lot longer and has to be done later on
