firster with speed pedigree for one of the best debut trainers in the game.. irad rides.. not a msw pedigree so don't feel up for sale for $50k is a negative.. even though peter miller #7 (5-2) is excellent dropping to maiden claiming I think this is a bad sign based on what he cost and has done.. it doesnt look pretty on paper but to me clear excuses for sub par efforts (slop last, extremely fast race two back).. 3 back missed by a head running big figure.. if he (#7) goes off ml or higher a bad sign

they broke the track record by 3/5th's of a second.. how many horses lose when that happens lol.. arnold has nice stats 2nd off and in graded stakes.. those two running there race as good as anybody in there.. nice call

none are easy but that was very challenging... a big field of classy turf sprinters to me is the toughest kind of race to handicap.. usually not a lot separates them

I like the way the way this guy keeps meeting the challenges as they get tougher along the way.. he's certainly not as good as the top two but the mcknight stakes effort 2 back wasn't
bad... last was off a long layoff running behind a "very very very slow" pace.. solid jockey aboard and think if others are a little off he could pick up the pieces

John Hancock said Hopeful Princess is one of the best 2yo he has ever had before that maiden win at Churchill. Now in the Asmussen barn, she will be tough. One of my selections may be in that race but it won’t be the #8. Got a few I like tomorrow but haven’t decided which 2 to play here.
