actually I meant along the lines of 30 to 55 plays with the distance analogy. .this contest a route

It’s so hot here in Midwest right now, there is a chance for thunderstorms almost every day. Hopefully they will be scattered enough so the track isn’t affected.

I think it's tough when your chasing an all out speed on the front end.. not that it was a surprise that the 3 was going to be out there or mine might have been off his last race.. tougher to win doing that than sitting just off or further back.. really think that's what did him in and it wasn't a sure thing that's how it was going to unfold

Pace was too much, you're right. Had nothing left because he used too much energy early on. Wasn't an easy race to play, but I liked the #1 myself and lost. On to tomorrow.

I find the worst trips are either battling (but that's obvious) or sitting 2nd by yourself behind a lone front runner.. you're often sitting off a slow/moderate pace and when you move on him he's got another gear or you have to stay close enough to keep him honest and that will wear you out..when I've got that horse I know I'm in trouble
