I just went through the 10 pages to this thread and just wanted to confirm, the actual rules of how these selections are made is not posted herein, correct?

I just wanted to confirm as it looks like others have asked so I thought I would check. My thought process "in God we Trust" all others bring data! :-)

It's the time the game is scheduled to start. EST = Eastern Standard Time, which is also GMT-5.

In Ledjend's defense, he was straight up about his MLB system. He didn't try to bury it or pretend it didn't happen. That being said, I urged him earlier in the year in this thread to expose his system parameters so people could verify the results he claimed. If he had, then people could take these 2 C bet losses in stride, knowing it was a a hiccup in the system which hadn't happened in the past 10 years (providing his backtest was accurate).

But...since he won't expose the details and nothing can be verified, you can't blame people for getting pissed when the "1st time in 10 years" thing happens and wipes out a half season's profit in 2 wagers.

Willing to reserve final judgment until season's end. Who knows? Maybe it'll go undefeated the rest of the way...maybe it'll end up 50 units in the hole. Guess we'll see.

That is my primary complaint. If you run a system just post the parameters and let someone back test if they desire. It can also benefit the system as a whole. The 1-7-5 method of betting the JM NBA thread came from this exact process. Someone posted the parameters and another user figured out bet in this way it's more profitable. Just an idea...
