Pythagorean formula from Bill James Spreadsheet help
I am in desperate need of a spreadsheet that can calculate my offensive and defensive power rankings (easy calculation, I'm just not familuar with excel).
Then runs scored...Example-(Team A Offense (1.05) x Team B Defense (1.07)) x 4.46 = 5.01
But What I REALLY NEED HELP WITH is the James pythagorean formula ( Win% = Runs Scored ^ 1.83 / ((Runs Scored ^ 1,83) + (Runs Allowed ^ 1.83)) )
With a full time job and a son, there is no way I can do this by hand for every MLB game, every day. I need a spreadsheet I can just plug the numbers in. Or if it updated automaticly that would be even better
..sigh. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
