Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball has gone Hollywood. Now, he has taken his talents on the court and translated them into an acting career (or continue, really) that will begin with an appearance during Season 3 of “Fuller House” when it debuts on Netflix. The news was originally reported by Variety.

Ball was selected with the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of UCLA, immediately becoming the new face of the on-court Lakers. He is the first draft choice of new Lakers president Magic Johnson, who is a Los Angeles legend with roots around town in his own right.

The franchise quickly made Ball its starting point guard (before they even officially drafted him) after trading the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, D’Angelo Russell, to the Brooklyn Nets during the offseason.

Ball has had a name for himself long before ever stepping on the court for an NBA regular-reason game, due largely in part to the bombastic tendencies of his father, LaVar. The eldest Ball has gone on record calling his son many things, that vary anywhere from a lock to win the NBA Rookie of the Year to being better than 2-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry.

The Ball family is a walking reality show in their own right, which will allow Lonzo to work on those acting chops. Earlier this year, Lonzo, alongside his father and brother, LaMelo, appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw, which can technically be noted as his first time making an appearance as an actor on television.
