idk but let me just say i feel DAMN good with a big 1 locked in early on Toledo at -6.5 
...this one could get ugly...cant understand a play on NIU here..take the over if you just have but leave NIU and the points alone or this will be you by the end of the 
3rd quarter

Bought half a point for Toledo at -6.5. I feel like this is the biggest gamble of the week for me, as I know very little about both teams. Just going by gut feeling and quick research.Comment -
Toledo is scoring 10 points less this year than they were last year, they are giving up 3 points less this year than last. NIU is scoring about the same, while giving up 13 points more. Last year's game was alot of scoring for them though, alot of yards on the ground. NIU aint as good as they were last year and it appears this is Toledo's year for this game, we will see.

Gonna go back and watch that OSU game, saw some huge holes OSU was making, also saw OSU's defensive line running through Toledo at will. I know thats mixing apples and oranges as Ill also go and look at NIU's offensive and defensive lines as well.Comment -

Even if Toledo jumps out to an early lead, I don't see them breaking away for long. NIU's defense is garbage but Chandler Harnish at QB knows how to put points up in a hurry and keep NIU in the game. NIU has only been the underdog one other time this year and that was against Wisconsin. They have had 4 double-digit point spreads they have been asked to cover while Toldeo has only been the favorite its last 2 games... People are still riding high on Toledo's performance against Ohio St ( which was impressive but is still skewed due to rebuilding its offense ). I agree that Toldeo should probably win this game straight up but there is no way they win by more than a touchdown.Comment -
this is a classic thread of trying to make sense of MAC teams. Its almost impossible to figure this conference out
I follow Temple and up to a few years ago, was able to make money consistently fading them, since then there have been several front running teams, but never any one team consistently dominating the conference
This years flavor of the week was Toledo, then they failed to cover against bowling green, bowling green then went on to beat Temple out right as 14 point dogs, then BG failed to cover against Kent State last week ... NIU rolled Kent a few weeks ago by 30
Whats this mean? The MAC is not the SEC or the PAC12 where you can match up head to head winners, its impossible to figure out what team will show up
I would have to believe, Toldeo, at home on ESPN is enough of a diffrence here ... personally I like the over but obviously no guaranttes.
For those who think longer term I'l tease the over down and take Temple plus the points tomorrow night

I have been doing some tracking all season on these crappy conferences and their crappy teams trying to develop a dog system. So far I am noticing that the books typically put out a line to start around 6.5 for the home team because they dont put a whole lot of research into these games because they are lets face bottom of the bucket teams and conferences.
So far I have recorded that the dog is winning s/u around 35% but banking because of the +$ and ATS around 68%. This is only for crappy conf vs crappy conf teams with lines of +6.5 or better. I excluded week 1 & 2 because there were too many games with bcs teams vs dirt bags. Here are the results in units and dollars.
My point here is that toledo maybe a good play but over the season the dogs are making the most $ in these garbage team games and have been putting a little cha ching in my pocket since wk 6 when i had enough info to start making plays.

If anyone wants to see the results send me a message i have every game the spread and the ml as well as results saved. The reason i started reviewing this stuff was just based on a theory that books dont look at these games as hard as the big primetime games. Especially the ones that arent on TV, like western ky @ la monroe saturday. I had to watch it on gametrax and it updated super slow but west ky was +6.5 and won S/U in OTComment -

Both teams are 5-3 both are scoring a ton of points and really running over people or getting creamed. I don't see what mega adv. toledo has other than being at home. And i am not knocking anyone but i dont get into all the stats because at the end of the day they just make you crazy and dont really give you much of an edge when it comes to these teams in the sewer conferences.Comment -

I love how everyone who is posting about this game can't logically make an argument (besides pad) about why they pick Niu or Toledo. "just watch" lol. I think we won't have to worry about that now, will we ?
