#39I am a life-long Husker fan so maybe I have a clearer vision here than most....Stay Away! Over the past few years Nebraska has rarely covered in a game like this, nor won outright. Just because its at home doesn't help either, Memorial Stadium is not the same advantage it once was....Even a pathetic Iowa State team won in Lincoln recently.
Nebraska, as stated above has a suspect defense and suspect offense....If Mich St gets any pressure on Martinez at QB its gonna result in Nebraska having to count on the run game and Michigan St has one of the better run D's as we all know.. Bottom line is Taylor Martinez at QB rarely wins a big game against a solid team, im struggling to name one actually and if you look at Mich St. this year, besides letting Wisconsin score 31 last week they dont allow many points, I think 14 was the most in the previous 5 weeks...
Nebraska may win but I find it hard to believe they will cover, also statistically they play worse in the early games....Pass on this game IMO there are plenty more games out there that look easier than this one... Like I said im a NU fan so hope im wrong but I dont see this anywhere close to a "Lock", at best its a "Possible"Comment -

#41Nebraska went to a 'foreign' venue for the first time in school history. More importantly, it was the first time they ventured into the Big Ten and the home field at Wisconsin. Things went miserably poor for Nebraska in that game. Now, MSU has to travel to a hostile environment and one they are not familiar with in the least. Even the coaching staff can be caught out of sync to a regular road schedule routine. The whole event is new and unfamiliar.Comment -

#42Interesting, if only it were that easy. If A=b and b=C, the of course A=C.. only in the math class. Wisconsin won at Home and so did MSU.. Now, MSU is on the road so does that mean all three home teams will win then?Comment -

#43There are WAY TOO many variables in football to think that it is ever as simple as the transitive relation a=b, b=c so a=c formula. One must consider weather, venue, fan base, team strengths, coaching staff and the list goes on and on. Gosh, I wish it were that easy don't you John? I think we would all be rich. That is not to say that MSU can't win and cover...just that more thought and statistical research has to go into it than the aforementioned. (See Back Propogation Theory 101...lol)Comment -

#45Wow can't believe it here we go again A bunch of people that dont add anything but critisizm to the pick's (apoligy's to those who actually backed up there statements with stats) but to just cut down a pick is rediculous you got a better one let's hear it. Sometimes intelligent conversation leads to new avenues of making money for all of us where as putting lil animated laughing guys on the floor just makes you look childish. John has not let me down yet! I feel this is no good why follow if your just gonna ridicule just go start your own thread and show us how it's done. Thanks for the effort and analysis John once again you have worked hard to bring insight .....spike..... I'm probably makin this bet!!!!!!!!!!!Comment -

Nebraska has not impressed me at all this year . Cousins is a pretty good quarterback and I think he will be the difference today .Comment -

#47I am not a parlay player, but many of you like to play them. So, I would recommend a parlay on Nebraska and Oklahoma
Here are some betting strategies for this game:
In addition to the pair of 5* wagers (Nebraska and the 'Under', I also like no more than a 3* amount playing a teaser with Nebraska and the ‘under’. Moreover, you can add a 2* amount parlaying Nebraska and the ‘under’. Based on my money management methodologies and probabilistic grid, these equate to roughly an 8.5* bet on Nebraska or an 8.5 star bet on the ‘under’.
I prefer to add 3.5* to the Nebraska bet and keep the 5*‘UNDER in tact and only add the 3* teaser bet.Comment -

#53I just had a cash out from Bodog. I made a request and within 30 minutes it was approved. It took 10 business days to get my check via Fed Ex. Was supposed to take 4-7 business days. So I think 10 days is great considering how things have been in the recent past. I didn't even have to send them any scans of my I.D. or utilities bills or anything like they used to have people do and I had them change my address on my account by email right before the cash out.Comment -
