#7i think they just look fishy to you. i think they are all balanced and have reasons behind them.
texas would be -7 if it was playing at a neutral field, maybe -9 if at home. it's -3 at tech becuase they have not showed anything and their QB and offense line keeps making mistake. i think the line is fair.
how is the Iowa line not fair?Comment -

#12California can beat Nevada. If Kaepernick has to throw the ball, he is much less effective. Having said that, he is still a big beast who runs like a deer. But Pac 10 vs smaller conference, the line is small. Go Cal.Comment -

#22Don't really understand this spread.
1)You think this would be about 3. Southern Miss is really 5.5 points better than Kansas? What have they done?
2)You wouldn't think 66% of the public would be on Southern Miss, considering they rarely side with a mid-major over BCS, and are easily swayed week to week, so you think the perception would be more favorable to Kanas since they just beat GT.Comment -

#23I honestly can say that the public ALWAYS looks at the favs and say "they are the better team, they are favorites". Public looks to take the easy route and that is to lay the points on a favorite. I see no reason why Kansas is 5.5 point dogs here. Reduced juice I see -108 so the sharps already pounding this play. Wouldnt be suprised this came down to 5 or +4.5. Playing this now and a shot at the ML aswell.Comment -

They are good at home. And didn't Kansas lose to an FCS two weeks ago?Comment -

#27I like Cal anywhere from -2 to -3 just fine. To me, Nevada means two things: a blowout loss in the Hawaii Bowl to SMU, and a shutout vs. a god awful Notre Dame defense. Now if this was Cal vs. Fresno State I could see why the line would be so small, but even Northwestern could cover this spread even in Reno.Comment -

#28I agree about Kansas. Maybe it's just lingering doubts from the loss to the Dakota team (can't even remember which). But I have a hard time justifying that line. I see it as a pick-em type game.
As for ECU/VPI, that line is low. There is historical precedent for this kind of situation, and what it shows is a huge bounce-back ass-kicking by the team in Virginia Tech's situation. You never know, it could be different this time, and maybe a moneyline play on ECU could have value, but please stay away from the pointspread. Virginia Tech is probably going to win by 40+.Comment -

#31The way ECU offense looks I think they'll be hard pressed not to put up at least 21-31 points. Va Tech's defense isn't wonderful. If ECU even gets 14 points I like them to cover.Comment
