This line is a gross reaction to Tech's egg last week against Iowa State. Expect the Red Raiders to be a bit more focused on the road with an attitude adjustment from last week. Texas has not been able to stop dynamic offenses very well this season. The Red Raiders will need to be better against the run, but prior to last week - this is a team that had not lost by more than one score.Comment -

UTEP-Rice Over 56.5 [-110]
Two very poor defenses here and both offenses while not overly explosive, can put up points on weaker defenses. Rice especially is bad on D, giving up 280+ yards passing per game and just over 200 on the ground. UTEP has a good attack on the ground and is adequate through the air. Big thing is for the Miners to finish off drives and take care of the football. The Owls have scored at least 20 points in seven straight games. UTEP is giving up 240 yards per game in the air and 180 on the ground, so Rice should have opps to move the football both ways, but they will likely focus on the ground game which is still capable of big plays.Comment -

[7:00pm ET] Houston Team Total Over 52 [-110]
The Cougars are rolling and going up against another poor pass defense in UAB. Houston has surpassed 52 points in four of their last five games overall. Case Keenum rolled up nine TD passes last week and likely will be looking to add even more to that total as the Cougars look to lay another crooked number up to impress the pollsters. UAB got absolutely gauged by a mediocre Marshall team for 59 points last week where QB AJ Graham threw 5 TDs. UAB also turns it over quite a bit which could lead to defensive TDs like last week or very short fields for Houston.Comment -
[8:00pm ET] Kansas State-Oklahoma State Over 70 [-110]
K-State is capable of putting up enough points to help here. The Oklahoma State defense has given up at least 24 points in seven of eight games. Their rush defense should be prone to some big plays for the Wildcats. K-State's own defense has had issues with the dynamic Big 12 offenses. Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech have all put up at least 34 points with OU scoring 58 last week. Okie State is averaging almost 57 ppg at home and has topped 50 points four times already. K-State's pass defense should get lit up.Comment -

Huskies have put up 40+ in seven of nine games this season. NIU is a great two-pronged attack, with averages of over 200 yards per game in the air and on the ground. That should mesh well with a Bowling Green D that struggles to stop the run especially. Huskies special teams were monstrous in their last game with two kickoff return TDs. Could definitely help aid this cause.Comment -

Ohio-Central Michigan Over 58.5 [-110]
Ohio has topped 30 points five times in nine games and three of their last four. They are solid both passing and running the ball, while the Chips struggle to stop both. CMU has allowed more than 30 six times this season. CMU's spread passing attack could give the Bobcats some issues and allow them to add to the total. CMU has been consistent, putting up 21 or more in six straight. If the Chips can get into the 20s, I think this has a legit shot.Comment -

Obviously a massive game for Boise here at home. I think the TCU defense still has holes in the secondary that Boise will take advantage of today. The Frogs have also had some issues stopping potent ground games. Boise's defense has been leaking on the ground of late which should play to TCU's strength offensively. Boise has given up 20+ the last two weeks to teams with less offensive firepower than TCU.Comment -

Marylan's rush defense is horrendous. They have allowed a 100 yard rusher in seven of nine games and five straight. Woods has topped this mark in four games this year. This game, it should really just be a matter of giving him enough opportunity to surpass the mark. I think 20+ carries and he makes it.Comment -

Important game for both and you have two capable offenses. ECU should be able to throw at-will against a poor Miners' pass D and they may be able to get their run game healthy as well as UTEP allows about 190 yards per game on the ground. ECU has scored at least 28 in four straight and five of seven. UTEP has given up 72 points in the last two weeks, while scoring 31 or more in four of their last five. Their ground game should get refound tonight against an ECU squad that gives up 180 yards per game.Comment -
