Sorry to add something to the mix…but I was just glancing over 2 picks that come to mind as locks. Is it just me or are Miami -3 and Oklahoma St. -3 100% locks? Miami just of back-to-back embarrassing losses to FSU and a weak Virginia tech. Duke eked out a win over Virginia tech a couple weeks ago but if you actually watched that game…they really weren’t able to do much in the red zone. I don’t know how many times they got an interception and just had to go 20 yards but couldn’t do it. I have long said Miami is overrated but don’t forget they did beat a decent wake forest and Georgia tech. I think this might be an overreaction to their back-to-back losses. Now Oklahoma St. @ Texas. Big -12 rivalry @ the max. OK st. has revenge on their mind from last year’s loss. I think that their win @ Texas tech proves that they are able to go on the road and surmount huge wins when needed. Well, they need this win more than ever because their next 2 games are going to be daunting to say the least (Baylor/OU). A win @ Texas is the only way to keep their hopes alive. Texas on the other hand was on the brink of losing to a mediocre WV @ home. Aside from OU…who have they beaten? I think Oklahoma St. rolls on this one. Let’s not forget that Texas is still #1 in Big 12 …a win by OK. ST would bring them to #3…with Ok. St going to #2.

Hey guys sorry this is so late but i have been busy. One play I like a lot this week that i havnt seen to much on this thread (might have misssed it so I appologize if I did) but it is SMU -16 vs Connecticut. A little hesitant to take 16 points here but I like it much better teased down a little. I have it in a couple Parlays where I have bought it down to as low as -6.5 to as high as 13.5.
Connecticut has been pretty terrible and even worst on the road. They have been blown out on every road game so far this season and dont think that will stop. SMU has not been the best team mostly due to some bad timed turnovers however, there record could easily be at 5-3. I think SMU will do a good job this week on taking care of the ball and throw all over this husky defense. I hope all is well fellas. I just wanted to get your guys take on the Marshall game. I know that all 3 loses are on the road but they were all tough games and probably should have beat VT. Marshall's offense is very solid and they should be able to put up a lot of points. Also, Tulsa's starting QB may not play and the freshman they have behind him really did not play well last week. thanks guys.Comment -
One game I absolutely love is Navy and will be pounding the hell out of that game. Navy played extremely well in their loss to Notre Dame and plays well at home. They're undefeated at home with a rushing attack I'm sure you all are aware of. I also think they have the upper hand on coaching. Niumatalolo game plans with the best of them and I have pretty good confidence in Reynolds. South Alabama has stayed close in all of their games but they haven't faced a rushing attack like Navy who also will control most of the game by running the clock. I think this game is a hidden gem!Comment -

Miami is not the same team from earlier in the season. They had to put together late 4 qtr comeback drives to be beat a then 1-5 UNC and a 4-4 Wake team. They lost to a VaTech team that got beat by Duke/BC back to back, and well FSU is FSU.
I don't think this game is as much as a lock as you think. At home I would say yes, but in Durham with a suspect secondary and no Duke Johnson. I think they win, but by no means is it a lock.Comment -

5-3 on the week so far, with 4 wins coming "ingame progress wagering" on Buffalo Tuesday night, but last night Ball State destroyed me also on "ingame progress wagering" with a 4th quarter that more than stuck up the stadium, so I lost 3 plays last night. What book are you at? If you wanted to do parlays, (basically buying points above in the 7-9 range), all you need to do is grab some parlay cards @ the window.
A super teaser card should fit the bill. They have quite an assortment. Mega teaser and other fancy names.
Grab some assorted cards and take a seat and compare the #'s offered on the card to what's currently offered on the board. They print the cards on Tues and have to stick with the lines through-out the week. Often you can gain a couple points here or there advantage, from current line .
Only the smaller , weaker books will cancel a game (off a card) on significant line movement. A major injury or something big is another matter. Usually you can find some value.Comment -
Using William Hill. I did get the big teaser card... and some others...but it doesnt make sense that i adjust 5 teams 1.5 points when all i really wanted to do was move Kansas st. to -9.5 and Navy to -6.5. You are correct about gaining few points of advantage. But in my case it worked against me... their "big teaser parlay" card which is supposed to add 9.5 points either way.... had some games as low 5.5 points added. Just going to bite the bullet and cash transfer some $ online... these weekly trips to Vegas in order to "stay in cash" are draining. much easier online even though getting paid is a hassleComment -
Clemson/Georgia Tech progressive wager results. 4 wins and one loss, so I rebounded back strong from the Ball State failure last night. It was not possible for me to post on the forum until now, so that is why I am posting actual pics of my plays. This brings me to 9 wins and 4 losses on the week.
