Urban - I am glad you had a great time. PV is by far my favorite city in Mexico, and maybe my favorite beach destination as well!

I notice you include Buffalo on your parlays, but not NIU...
Buffalo has been a nice little team for me this year, putting up points and covering spreads. However, I am not sure what to make of them coming off of last week.

NIU, on the other hand, has an absurdly low line this week. I am not sure what I am missing. I cannot find anything indicating injuries, so I am lost as to why the line is only -1 1/2 and why you left this play alone.

I have no concerns about Buffalo this week, none what so ever, and I expect them to come out and destroy this very bad Miami of Ohio team. As far as Northern Illinois goes, I will take a look at it. Thank you for pointing it out to me!

Before relocating to Colombia, South America, I lived in Puerto Vallarta for many years, owned a bar in what is referred to as Old Town Puerto Vallarta area near Los Muertos beach, and a bar/nightclub on the malecon area near the Pemex Gas Station. However, I sold both of them prior to moving to Colombia. I still have my home there, that I rent out as a daily rental. If anyone is interested in renting it let me know. I get $900.00 dollars a day, which is basically the cost of two or three 4 star hotel rooms, so it is a great deal for those that are vacationing with families, or some guys getting together to split the costs. Oceanview as you can see by the 2nd and 3rd pics which were taken over Easter from my top deck. Anyone interested let me know. It is only a 5 minute taxi ride, (5 dollars) to the entertainment district, which is called the "Malecon Area", which is where all the action is. The last two pics are of this area.

I have worked hard to enjoy a fun type of lifestyle, as I am in my 50's so I have paid my dues. I also have always stayed single, and never got involved in relationships, as my life is all about being independent, coming and going any time I please, and with whomever I please, so not having responsibilities of a relationship has worked out great for me, and I would not have it any other way. I could never be faithful to someone anyways, as I am addicted to beautiful women. Making the choice to live outside of the United States for most of my adult life, has also been a very big asset to me, and the type of lifestyle I have chose to live in. I think the last time I was in PV I went to old town (could be wrong as it's been awhile)...think it was a Carlos n Charlies me and the lady stopped by.
Got to say one of the best experiences of that trip was watching a rave in the middle of some plaza (literally right on the water) at like 10 or 11PM. GD those were good fn times.

Anyways....back to business. Reading recent comments it sounds like UCF fd a lot of people's bets (including 2 of my parlays). The rest of my parlays (with 90% of your picks) paid up so again man my thanks.

That said I think UCF wakes the hell up Thurs night and beats the living hell out of a sorry a** Rutgers team. Regardless if Rutgers needs a win to clinch a bowl game, I don't think they will show up for this game after the recent beating they took from Cincy. Also you can't discount the fact that UCF will MOST LIKELY be getting one of their top WR's (Perriman...out due to concussion v UH 2 wks ago) and possibly 2 other starters (DE and Defensive back).

That leads me to the Cincy/UH game....Grading some of these AAC teams has been a little more difficult than I thought. I mean to me it's UCF #1 then Louisville #2 then right behind UH #3 and Cincy #4.
Can't figure out the talent/overall differential between the Cincy/UH though. What I will say is UH playing on a Thurs night has not been kind to me...(took UH -13 vs a GARBAGE South Florida team Halloween night..w/ I want to say a 6 pt tease...UH barely eeked out a 12 pt win).
Bottom line: Guys didn't look prepared at all after playing 5 days earlier on the road. ANOTHER thing to point out is that the UH/Cincy game will be played at BBVA Compass Stadium and not Reliant. From what I heard the last time they played at BBVA (vs. Memphis), was that the field was all torn up and in really bad condition. Something maybe to consider...

I'm curious as to why the line for the N. Illinois game manana noche at Toledo is so low (-2.5)...? I'd like to put them in a couple parlays but will first have to figure out the reasoning for the low spread...

Can't believe it's week 13 of CFB...man time really does fly when you're having fun.

Urban, forgot I was going to ask your opinion on couple games...

Liking Mizzou (-3) at Ole Miss. Mizzou off a bye week...getting Franklin back...have to win out to win SEC East, etc.

Also liking Fla Atl (-20) vs. NM State at FL ATL. NM State is basically winless (BARELY beating Abilene Christian..Division 2...doesn't count as a win in my book) and FL ATL has got a pretty solid defense....offense not so much, but defense def makes up for it. C

Also thinking of putting Chattanooga (Yes I said it) in one of my parlays. Saban is a class act and ALMOST never runs up the score against injured gazelles like Chatt. Might sound crazy but look up last couple years schedule and you will see what I'm talking about...

Absolutely loving Wisconsin as they are one of the most underrated teams in country (i.e. ESPN doesn't salivate over them every 2 seconds)....thinking of taking them down to -7 vs. a much improved but not on Wisconsin's level Minnesota team.

For me I would not touch the Northern Illlinois/Toledo game. As I posted in another thread, I think it is going to be a very close game, and it is going to be decided in the 4th quarter by turnovers, or bad calls from the refs. I could very well be wrong, but through my due diligence, and I did put allot of effort into looking at this game, this is what I came up with.

Also as I pointed out in another thread, the Cincinnati/Houston game scares me. I took Houston -3 and +3, but I took it based on the 3 games I watched Cincinnati play, which just so happened to be there 3 losses. Also I learned that the top wide receiver for Houston is now a game time decision, so this is also very bad news for any Houston backers. If I had to do it all over again, I would leave this game alone. It did remind me to not be lazy, and look at every game I choose to play more in depth, and not rely on what I saw by watching a few games that a particular team played.

As far as your other picks go, I like them, but would leave the Alabama game alone, as there are better choices out there. I know what you are saying about Saban, but at this time of the season, I would not be rolling the dice.

You're right that espn doesn't bang on and on about this crew. That's usually a sign that the lines will be easily low enough to cover consistently until they get heavy press coverage.

Minnesota has trouble stopping the run.

Took a major ass whupping this past Saturday, but two plays really made a big difference to me financially, fricking Alabama taking a knee three times at the end of the game while being first and goal at I believe the 3 yard line, and Central Florida kicking a field goal on first down to end the game when they were first and goal at the 6 yard line.

Time to get back and give them a double ass whupping this week, and I feel damn good about it. I am doubling up on a couple of my parlays since my Sportsbook only allows me to play up to a certain limit per parlay play, and I am also only allowed to use the same spread on a team 3 times.

Both teams are very strong on the defensive side of the ball, so I think this is going to keep the game close, despite the fact Northern Illinois with Quarterback Lynch is much stronger offensively. I also think with the game being a home game for Toledo with a national television audience watching is going to be a strong advantage for Toledo, as there home turf is a very tough place for the visitors to come into and play. This is also a game from what a close friend of mine who resides in Toledo told me, is a game Toledo has been looking to play since the start of the year, as it has the excitement of a ball game or more for them, so I think emotion and energy is going to be playing a part in this game as well for Toledo.

I know my assessment of the game is short, but it is why I believe the game is going to be decided by 4th quarter turnovers, a bad officiating call, or Jordan Lynch will make a big play for Northern Illinois that will carry them on to a victory and cover.
