Oregon just did not have it in them tonight, and who the hell knows why they did not, as they had everything to play for, and all the cards were in there favor to at the very least get a win. Yes Stanford played a good game, but a lot of that had to do with the poor performance by Oregon.Comment -

Urban, I like to check your posts out, can't always say I agree with them but always thought out and well reasoned so they are appreciated. I was with you all the way on Oregon but mot shocked by the result. Just wanted to say on the bright side we won't see an Alabama slaughter of the Ducks in the NC game. They had trouble with a "physical" Stanford team, can you imagine Big Boy SEC physical against the Ducks? Oregon would not have enough players to finish the game.

Dude. this kind of shit happens. You have done so much for so many here. I appreciate you being caring enough for others money, but what you do here is out of decency and you certainly dont have to share what you know. I say that to say that people tail at their own risk and most are appreciative. Oregon is a flashy, speed based team that has traditionally had problems with physical teams. I was very leary of Stanford because they are big and physical. It was a no play for me as a straight up betcuz of my concern about the Stanford run game and defensive size. That said, I was on your parlay with Oregon cuz I wanted to go to the cashier's window with you. I cashed this single biggest bet of my life last week thanks to you and I for one have ZERO complaints. I am with you regardless.Comment -

It is the best medicine when you are feeling the blues, is to get back up and knock'em down on the next go around. It is like a pitcher in baseball who got bombed, and cannot wait to get back up on the hill to throw a shut out.

Putting the same team in every parlay is dumb. Win or lose it is dumb. Guy knows very little about sports betting. That is why the majority of the games he is buying a bunch of points. Urban works for the books people.Comment -

I wouldn't take it so hard. Win some, lose some. I was dead wrong about Ducks last night. I knew right away that those first two possessions @ the 4 with no points was going to come back and bite me.
Hats off to Stanford. Game is about momentum and they buckled up their chin straps and came to play. If Ducks could have punched one of those in, might have been a different game, but they didn't.
I'm pretty lucky because Baylor came in for me, so I just lost the vig on Ducks.
Now more than ever is the time to pick your spots.
Consider flat betting (same $ amt) and try your hardest to minimize parlays and don't try to get it all back at once.
Patience, protect roll and grind it out.
I reminded myself to be more cautious laying points on the road, especially big games.
I highlighted some games that I liked and road favs will give me pause. I like these sides, but they are examples of what I'm talking about. Mizzu, Tex.,Az.St, and Auburn.
Home favs like Bama,Zona and Wisky have interest. Considering grabbing the points with Miss St.,and Vtech.
Big games are killers to bet, but hey, that's whats' fun. I make my living trading stocks and this is solely entertainment, putting your money where your mouth is.
Before I punched in my bets, I liked Oregon,Baylor and Bama. My gut kept saying no way all three favs are going to cover. Pick one dog, just couldn't do it. Oh well, hoping I'm only wrong on Ducks. Time will tell if it was only the road fav that bit me.
Bottom line all you can do is your homework and make your best play. Fire away when you are hot and pull back on cold streaks or after a big loss.
Guys crying about tailing need to man up. Reminds me of a guy copying your homework or grabbing answers off your test. Didn't know jack or study and now wants to whine that the answers he copied were wrong.

actually I have been very fortunate ghislaine, as the week previous to last was a fantastic week, and the entire year for that matter. This week will be the same after I knock them down tomorrow! The loss yesterday on Oregon was a loss many took. It could have been much worse, but Baylor came through for me. You cannot win them all, you can only hope that you can win more than you lose.

Iowa, Navy and Auburn in that order. I could take the time to break the games down for you from my notes, but I am not sure it would help you. Thank you for your kind words, but I really got blindsided by Oregon last night which cost me, and many others dearly, with there pathetic performance when they had every reason to play the best game of there lives. There loss last night had more to do with there sorry asss performance, than the play of Stanford.
Here is a write up I did earlier in the week on why I feel Auburn will cover the spread against Tennessee.
Look no further than the yardage Tennessee gives up to the running games, such as last week when Missouri ran for 339 yards against them, or the week before that when Alabama ran for 204 yards, and the week before that when South Carolina ran for 218 yards. They give up on the average of 201 yards a game on the ground. Now you have a red hot Auburn team with all the momentum in the world coming in to Tennessee AVERAGING 306 yards a gain rushing. Oh man Oregon is frustrating. Oregon has killed me and now that last min drive from UConn with their freshman QB off the bench scores a TD and blows the spread. Three straight weeks with last min TD's, it is killing me. Good luck to everyone next week. As I stated in a an earlier post today, we got knocked down but not knocked out with the pathetic performance by the Ducks from Oregon, but it only makes us want to come back stronger than ever, so tomorrow it is our turn to not only knock'em down, but knock'em out, one game at a time!
