#72Worse for him (and you) it's not a Muay Thai match.
And he hasn't got a ring to corner guys in.
And that you can't train reach.
And he doesn't have Greg Jackson in his corner.
And he's coming off of an injury.
And that for all the supposed memory of Pride fans, they've seemed to have blocked out one of the most monumental examples of pathetic victory in MMA. I don't think Pat Berry or Hershel Walker would give up their most embarrassing wins for Shogun's W over Mark.Comment -

#73I wonder what those 2 would give up to essentially beat the supposed best fighter of the new era in their division twice in a row. That Machida era didnt last too long did it? Talk about selective memory.Comment -

And jacktheknife we're thinking on the same page.
Also, Shogun has only subbed one man in his entire career. I think he's going to have to KO Bones to win.
Definitely a lot of good discussion in this thread... I see everyone is ready for this one!Last edited by sirchadwick1; 02-17-11, 05:39 PM.Comment -

#76Absolutely. Lookin to do 4 or 5. Will post before the fight. Waiting for more noobs to drive the line more in my favor. I put my money where my mouth is. Not just talk. I see great value in this bet. Squareguy said he dropped 850. Would love to see that ticket.Comment -

#77Agreed, would love to see it also. You rarely see anyone post their bets.
Sometimes I almost believe guys come on multiple forums saying "Bet the house on -insert fighter here-" just to drive the line down so they can bet on the other guy... lol.Comment -

If you are looking to bet Shogun, they will let it go up to 500, if Bones, max is 1,000 currently.Last edited by Squareguy; 02-17-11, 07:15 PM.Comment -

I believe the term is circling, and yes.
"77 wingspan JDS? Oh, you facetious rouge, you.
I don't remember Shogun's 8-1 experience being touted as winning him the Pride GP, but a fat lot of good it did for Matyushenko, or Rampage, or Frank Mir, or Chris Leben, or Matt Hughes twice, or Chuck Liddell twice, or Gomi twice.
Not the least of his concerns either.
Lol hater bs, huh? Sure thing, man, Coleman fight never happened. And Machida beat him legit, too. And fairy dust keeps getting in Koscheck's eye.Comment -

#94If the odds come back down, Ill fly out to vegas to bet Jones.
Ecco- You dont think Jones wouldve beaten Machida twice? easily?
Jones is gonna get side control, pin shoguns arm in a crucifix and elbow him repeatedly. Shogun better be working on submissions while being trapped against the cage.Comment -

#98I still can't believe Jon Jones is favored in this fight... and I love Jon Jones, been supporting him for along time now, and I knew he would dominate Bader, but this is a completely different level of competition in my opinion. I say the pride legend takes this one, shogun is still only 29 and has plenty left in him and will prove he's the best light heavyweight in the world..Comment -

I understand a close line or maybe Jones a small favorite, but Shogun +175 is silly.Comment -
