Years ago betting MMA fighters were not as well rounded and I could REALLY pick em. I made a ton of money betting MMA in the early years.

Then we had the new generation of MMA fighters coming up, training at developed gyms. I began to struggle betting MMA because the new generation of fighters became so well rounded.

I adjusted my betting style and tweaked it but still kept in mind the fighters strengths.

My approach now is Hedge on the fighters strengths both ways if the odds dictate that.
Also if you see a fight where the odds are jacked one way then just take the dog ITD. You just need one of those ITD dogs to hit once in a while to really clean up.

My two cents. I still bet the entire cards and all fights and more often then not I still come out ahead betting MMA. It's not like the old days though.

Yea I was thinking this the last few cards I have bet. The lines are really tight now days, was easier to catch them slipping a few years back even.

For this fight I think Barboza is the best bet. I feel like Thug Nasty has a lot of fans, casual bettors , action on him could be moving the line. You look at Mitchells last few fights...

Hes a great grappler and pressure fighter, but has wins on no one near Barbosa's level. I remember him getting cracked a bit in the Andrei Fili fight, but do you think he we will able to do the same thing to edson who i don't think is any slouch on the ground. Mitchell comes from a small town camp, greatness happens there (albeit rarely) yetnot on the level of a bigger pro camp with a lot of high level guys.

I dont think I will bet against Mitchell though, I like him too much as a fan (how can anyone not), don't want to ruin my experience of watching the fight and that's why I think the line might be off.

What is Hardy doing in there? Did be not train for being taken down? He was out of his depth coming into the UFC and it is showing with anyone with a little bit of skill....

Had Dos Anjos ITD. Fight should have been stopped after the 4th round. RDA didn't want to hurt him anymore.

Edson's weight cut killed him. I had myself talked off the cliff. Reduced bet to 100. Got to the window and added a 100. Still didn't lose my shirt on a lame fighter! He had nothing to offer. No bounce. Won a couple early ones on finish and decision wins. Bad nite all around. Overall a losing night. Hope somebody hit em!

Edson and Masvidal suffered the same fate. Grounded and beat up.

I was so confident in that I checked myself! Could have really lost a good piece on that fight. I'm not happy , but grateful 200 was the hit!

I deleted the 60 second bet thing. It was 38 seconds of the second round in the Holland fight. I would have lost if they had that bet. I missed that fight getting in and out of streams. Even a rough nite for streaming the fights once the main started.

Coby by decision was the obvious call. I was a sucker and tried Masvidal by KO.

    I should have known
