Anyone have an opinion of Lobov Vs Avila? I think I'll probably put a small wager on Lobov. I've looked at some of Avila's fights on Youtube, and he doesn't seem that dominant. He seems dominant against cans, but against aggressive opponents, they seem to get the upper hand until Avila managed to get the back and put in a rear naked choke. Lobov is aggressive, strong, and has decent standup. The stakes are high for him to win this fight.

there's nothing realisticly conor could have done this camp to push him ahead of the punchers chance he had in the first fight. it's still a longer,taller and considerably heavier fighter he's going against. that edges him out in grappling (both offense and defense) and who's stronger in the clinch.

and they both have questionable defense, except nate has shown to be a hell of a lot more durable than conor have. oh, and the mental edge is all on nate in this fight, conor is the one up against the wall.

Diaz isn't a pressure fighter like rda. If conor wons this fight it will help both fighters out because of immediate trilogy rematch and diaz loves money. If diaz wins then mcgregor wont fight him ever again.mcregor won last first round and i beloeve he paces himself more this fight. Hes the cleaner striker as well. Diaz does bad ahainst strikers like mchregor look what gray maynard did to diaz.

For most fighters training camps do help and make a big difference but not with diaz. Don't label diaz as like all the rest of the ufc fighters because he is unique and likes to do things his own way. Mcgregor was training for a much smaller opponent so the training camp is finally real for both guys. Nate messes around too much in fights, doesn't do well at training for specific fighters, and that's why he loses a lot and never wins titles. Doesn't have a winning mentality and is mentally weak. Him saying his timing was off etc doesn't mean much, not like he was going to say I felt I fought perfect in the first round but mcgregor was winning. Mcgregor could have said the same thing since he was training for a completely different opponent that likes to press forward.
