I guess the story would be Bryan hates Orton so much that he wants to fight at next ppv and then someone interferes(sheamus) costing Bryan the match. They would feud til WM

However, I still think Batista wins. He probably asked for it in his contract.
DB could easily match up with Orton @ WM. They had the whole feud that led to Orton getting the WWE Belt in the first place. Unfinished business with Stef/HHH screwing him. This isn't an endorsement for him winning, just see a clear angle for them to go in that direction. One thing i find terribly stupid for them to do is let Batista win the rumble. I'm locked in Field (-195) vs Batista to win the Rumble.

Bryan just had a long feud with orton

they usually like fresher matchups at wm to make it more one of a kind esque

Bryan can win and I believe it's him or Batista. I do have a small play on Bryan at + numbers.

I cpuld be wrong. I was wrong the year del rio won it and the year Orton won it

Was it @ + money on 5dimes before? damn wish i didn't wait to play the line. Just got my account @ 5dimes up and running again so Haven't been able to bet on wrestling for a few months. RR is my favorite ppv of the whole year so felt compelled to splurge a bit. Will be nice come next year when i don't need to drop 50 bucks to watch it.

In all honesty, a +200 favorite in a WWE bet simply means that a couple people bet 25$ on him, these lines shift insanely fast when any money comes in. Unless he hits -2000 in an hour or two, I would not be worried. I still like Batista here, in fact, I just rebet him.

Thanks Beez. Quick question. How long do they limit these bets before they open them up? I remember when i used to bet wrestling pretty consistently before they'd cap them $25 till maybe 2 or 3 days before. BTW, New Age Outlaws -2750 ? WTF I'll admit, Billy Gun looks the same as he did in the 90's. Guy is 50 too. Road Dogg looks old tho. Still seems to work well in ring tho.

The rumble as a whole was pretty bad. Batista winning it was just the cherry on top of this turd sundae.

OMMENTARY | In July 2011, CM Punk shocked the wrestling world when he sat down on a stage in Las Vegas and delivered a blistering promo expressing his frustrations with the WWE. After years of being overlooked and buried by the creative team, Punk let loose a rant for the ages which focused around his desire to leave the company that month. His frustrations had boiled over to a point that he was willing to leave the world's biggest wrestling company rather than put up with the same garbage week after week.

Once again it appears that frustration has got the best of Punk, but this time he chose to leave the company before his contract expired. On Jan. 28 and into the next day reports surfaced that Punk left the company and told Vince McMahon he was going home. These reports appear to have been confirmed by PWInsider.
To further drive home the legitimacy of his departure, on its website, the WWE has pulled Punk from advertising on almost all future WWE events. He was scheduled to wrestle in Toledo, Ohio Tuesday night - a show I attended and can confirm he was advertised as the main event for - but he did not appear on the show.
While these rumors could just be the WWE leaking information as part of some grandiose scheme to make it seem like Punk is leaving again, it would appear this is legit. If that is the case, here is the good and the bad of the situation.
                                          The Good
Punk has never been shy about expressing his disapproval of part-time wrestlers coming in and stealing the spotlight every year at WrestleMania. PWInsider is suggesting Punk left because it was clear he once again had no shot at main eventing WrestleMania this year and decided not to stick around for a rumored match against Triple H.
Maybe by losing one of its top draws for the other nine months of the year, the WWE will stop giving marquee spots to guys like Brock Lesnar who have made it clear they only want to come in for the big money and leave while the rest of the roster works all year. The Rock is an all-time great, but it's really aggravating as a fan to see him show up five times a year to get the main event at WrestleMania knowing he is leaving almost as soon as he returns.
It's also nice to know that Punk cares enough about the product that he isn't shy about speaking out for fans. During his dispute with the WWE in 2011, Punk went on air and said "you want to punish people for being wrestling fans," to McMahon. As was the case at last week's Royal Rumble, the WWE often times ignores the wants of fans in order to push its own agenda down our throats.
Go back and watch the Rumble, the four names that got the most spotlight on the card, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar have all been booed heavily by fans lately despite Cena and Batista being "good guys." Meanwhile the two guys who got the loudest reactions, Punk and Daniel Bryan were buried in terrible angles that night.
It's one thing to make fans wait a bit to see their favorites get over on the bad guys, but ignoring us for too long only results in fans tuning out.
                                          The Bad
This is simple. No CM Punk in the WWE is bad for the fans more than anybody else. Over the course of his career in the company, Punk has developed a reputation as being a guy who can deliver a good match, promo and story anytime he is asked. Whether he is a face or a heel, Punk knows how to entertain an audience like very few can.
I can say I was legitimately disappointed when Punk didn't appear in Toledo Tuesday and had I known he wasn't going to be on the card, I wouldn't have bought tickets. I would be willing to bet some people felt the same way.
While it's admirable that Punk is standing up for himself, the fans are the ones taking this one on the chin. Like he's said before Punk is just another spoke on the wheel and the WWE will just find another guy to take his spot. But sadly, whoever it is probably won't be able to fill his shoes.
It's also rough for Punk who is still in the prime of his career but left with no place in the United States to showcase his skills on a comparable stage. TNA may have a TV deal, but unlike WCW back in the day, TNA isn't competition for WWE.
In three months, when all the part-time talent is gone, the WWE will have one less star on the roster to help keep the product entertaining. That means having to build another name up and as we know, sometimes even the biggest push of a talent doesn't mean he'll connect with the fans.
This story is going to develop over the next few weeks and there's no doubt the rumor mill will be producing hundreds of different stories about what is going to happen with Punk. Storyline or not, Punk leaving the WWE is sure to get people talking, one way or another.

“I get a little more bonus when I’m fighting the pay-per-view cards, but I get a little more exposure on the FOX cards,” noted the Team Alpha Male fighter, who most recently outpointed Nik Lentz at UFC on FOX 9. “I don’t really have a preference. I’m down for either.”

Hulkamania running wild again in WWE return

By DAN GELSTON (AP Sports Writer) 55 minutes ago AP - Sports

Hulkamania is running wild again in the WWE.

Hulk Hogan, perhaps the biggest star in the company's 50-year history, is set to bring the red-and-yellow back to the sports entertainment behemoth and will host the April 6 WrestleMania in New Orleans.
Hogan returns to the WWE after a six-year absence and will be on Monday's ''Raw'' on the USA Network. Hogan will also bring the muscle for the WWE's launch of its own network: He will appear on ''WWE Raw Backstage Pass,'' airing live on WWE Network at 11:05 p.m. on Monday night.
''I definitely want to stay here in the WWE,'' Hogan told The Associated Press on Friday. ''I just can't see myself ever being anywhere else. This is home. It always has been home. In the twilight of my career, what a great way to be part of the final hurrah for Hulk Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs.''
The 60-year-old Hogan's return is perfectly timed for both the 30th WrestleMania and the new network, which debuts Monday as a streaming service for $9.99 per month with a six-month commitment and will include all 12 pay-per-view events.
Hogan last appeared on WWE's flagship show ''Raw'' in December 2007.
Hogan was the main draw for the first WrestleMania in 1985 and was a fixture for years in WWE's signature event, facing everyone from Andre The Giant and Randy Savage to The Rock and, yes, company chairman Vince McMahon. He's in shape and could be ready to mix it up, if needed, at the Superdome.
But no WrestleMania match is scheduled.
''Right now, it's not in the plans,'' Hogan said. ''But like they say in the WWE, never say never.''
Hogan, starting his fourth stint with the WWE, said he would participate in WWE Network programming and make community and media relations appearances for the company.
Hulkamania was born in 1984 when he defeated The Iron Sheik to become WWE champion at Madison Square Garden. He won six WWE championships and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone.
''It's time for him to come home,'' said Paul ''Triple H'' Levesque, a wrestler and top WWE executive. Hogan and Triple H met at a charity event late last year, which started to lay the groundwork for The Hulkster's return.
Hogan is the latest estranged star to return to the company in the last two years, joining Bruno Sammartino and The Ultimate Warrior.
In his absence, WWE certainly hasn't forgotten about Hogan, putting him on the cover of its recent DVD release ''The Best of WWE at Madison Square Garden.'' He's also a playable character in six classic WrestleMania matches in 2K Sports' ''WWE2K14'' video game that came out late last year.
''I don't think there's ever been a doubt that Hulk Hogan was, in some way, a WWE commodity,'' Levesque said.
Hogan has also wrestled for other promotions including the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling and spent the last four years with TNA Wrestling. Like his bad guy Hollywood Hogan personna would have said, he hoped this relationship with WWE was ''4 Life.''
''It looks like this was always the direction I was going to go in,'' Hogan said. ''It's like I drifted apart from home base for a while. But this time, everything seems to be a perfect fit.''
