At the risk of giving Sider more info to dox me with (<3 you Sider ), figured I'd post this. It's Bloody Elbow's Kountermove tournament. If you're not familiar with Kountermove, they effectively host MMA picking tournaments with a cash buy-in and a cash prizepool. SNG's for MMA degens, basically. Bloody Elbow's was free, so obviously the prizes were pretty shitty, but I came 4th out of almost 700 people, so I picked up $50 for pretty much nothing.

Didn't realize until a few days after the event, as I forgot that I had entered at all. Obviously the field is going to be very weak, but hey, I'll take it.

Also, I'll probably have some plays for tomorrow. Will post if anyone is interested. The next UFC probably won't be a big card for me, I think the lines are mostly set pretty well. I don't even like Rory as much as I used to.

its always nice winning a crooklyn tourny. i tied for first one time and won $750 (split $1000/$500 1st/2nd prizes). that event was pretty sweet b/c i also won crooklyn's high roller tourny for $675 (fewer contestants, but $100 entry fee).

I am more worried about Ellenberger getting take downs and stealing two rounds than I am about anything else.

Jake Ellenberger is seriously one of the worst strikers in the top ten of any division, but his power is scary and he can definitely KO MacDonald. Look at the sequence he dropped Kampmann with, the technique will make you cringe. His strategy is to go face-first, then just alternate hooks until the other guy drops. He's much worse than Hendricks.

Watching Rory in some of his later fights he looks like he has developed a lot with slipping punches and his footwork is a lot better. The problem is that neck of his. Is it 100 percent? Can he easily slip punches now? These young kids think they are indestructible and then when they lose it is "I never should have never taken that fight". I can't even believe i already bet this fight so u guys need to hype Rory a little more for me so i can make a decision to bail out of the wager. Thanks. Oh and watching the Pyle fight again he sure did take Rory down rather easily.
