On Saturday I initiated a payout from 5d for alittle of $200 to my blockchain account. I then transfer that amount to my Bitpay wallet, not knowing I could transfer from blockchain straight to my Bitpay card account. So the money credited to my Bitpay wallet and thats where it's been stick since. I'm unable to access it. I've tried transferring my balance to the card, but it keeps saying "insufficient funds for the fee" I've lowered the transfer amount down to $180 still saying the samething. I called card services and their unable to assist me with things regarding my Bitpay wallet.

I tried emailing Bitpay support but haven't gotten a response yet. Can someone please help me get my money out my wallet to my card?

I'm DONE using this card. This is unacceptable.

Should have just sent a load for the card direct from Blockchain wallet.

They actively try to discourage you using them as a wallet.

I believe the fee is about $25 so keep reducing the amount $1 at a time until it goes through.

No I haven't. This was my first time. I never intended on sending it to the WALLET.

Yesterday I got blocked after 20 attempts. So today I've tried only 4 times so far and it's a no go. This is unacceptable.

Update: Lesson learned, cost me $15 smh. Closing my Bitpay wallet to avoid this happening again.

    Has something changed there?

Can someone else confirm if this is correct?

AFAIK there is no fee, hefty or otherwise, for loading the card.

I don't know exactly what the deal is? I don't know if they understand how to do it properly or not?

The fees could be just typical bitcoin network fees.

Guys are you logging in with this link? https://bitpay.com/card/login

Then clicking "+ Add Funds" top of the screen?

Entering the amount in USA dollars that you want? Then click continue.

You'll get the amount in Bitcoins to send and the Bitcoin address.

Then send the exact amount in Bitcoins to that address using your bitcoin wallet.

I don't know where the problem is?

This is what I was talking about last time. Of course it is acceptable to pay a small transaction fee, but bitpay adds on their own "network cost fees" when loading your bitpay account. If youre doing 100-200 they were charging an extra 5-10 dollars when I tested it out.

It only seems hefty if you do repeated smaller amounts, probably best to do larger chunks of 500-1000.

This is a great point. Only thing you can do... once the network gets more efficient... try to pick the time of day when it's less congested.

I've noticed a better network price a couple months ago when loading the card between Midnight and 6AM.
