We haven't bottomed yet either imo. I track big wallets, and they arent buying again, yet. I'd guess the bottom is 20-25k, but that doesnt mean there wont be decent bounces before then. 30k should be a bounce point

I don't think it is long term. And thought it was good we had a tangible reason for the initial move down. One that we know we be resolved eventually.

Staking has always looked like a HYIP ponzi scheme to me from day one.

And algorithmic tether currencies are just baffling people with BS imho.

If Celcius either kills off or attracts strict regulation to those things I think it will benefit the market long term.

Pomp and some of the others are very smart. As you said, they are brilliant in a bull run. They also sound good Monday morning quarterbacking. I listen for knowledge and ignore price predictions. During the next bull run it's best to wait for BTC to make some money, then switch over to tokens that will boom.

Another name that I'll throw out there = Saylor. Wow, he had all the answers when it was running good. Listen closely to how his interviews have changed. He's still talking big. Only difference is that he's changed his time horizons.

Looking in the rear-view mirror is actually a terrible way to invest. That's similar to the Cathy Wood ARK investing.

My new hero on investing strategy is Kirian "Deso Games" van Hest. If for no other reason...he's admitted to past struggles, which include him trying to kill himself at least 3x.

Back to Celsius. The Mashinsky thing really is a classic scheme. Doesn't matter if it's BTC or USD:
1) Pump up the sale. Push it hard. Induce investment.
2) Dylan Leclair summed up his strategy the best. Leclair called it taking a "Tail Risk", which is a perfect description.

I'm sure Mashinsky truly thought there was a 2% chance of BTC dropping to 20,000 this quickly. Is he holding $12Bill in gold reserves to pay back customers? LOL, no he isn't.
