Had a dream bitcoin crashed all the way down to $1000. Think I've read too many themike78 posts. Funny thing was, the I was only reason I was stressed was because I couldn't find any available money to buy at that price.

Unfortunately it's not a dream. Later tonight bitcoin will be going down about 45000 dollars and then by the weekend it will be worth about 27 cents.

Crypto.com is good. For example, for my app shows this for Tether (ERC20):

Flexible (withdraw anytime) = 8%
1 month = 10%
3 months = 12%

Those all will be 2% less if you have the Ruby Steel ($400) or Midnight Blue (free) cards. I think when they say "$400" they mean $400 worth of CRO staked. It's changed a couple of times, now. There are 5 card tiers and they go from free to $400K.

If you can get it, the Jade/Indigo ($4K) cards and above are when the really nice benefits start kicking in.

And I agree w/ the sentiment. In a bull-run, the Tier2 coins will advance MORE than BtC.

BtC working off a bigger base. Similar to the Gold/Silver analogy.

Alts definitely gain more in a bull run and vice versa. The homerun hitters will be found in a major alts ecosystem. If you like an alt, then look at it's ecosystem especially Oracles and DEX.

Twitter, Discord and Telegram are important to look at. The coin needs a community. If the bull run continues, then the ecosystem of smart contracts (ADA, SOL, etc) is the way to go although much riskier.

Fees will be a lot lower than ETH, over 70% of Cardano is staked (nice interest rates) and there will be convertors, such as ADAX, that will be able to convert ETH tokens to ADA. Some other chains do too but ADA has a huge community and that's really all that counts.

At some point in the future - 10, 20, 30+ years - will the concept of universal decentralized currency, aka Crypto, be consolidated down to 1 main coin/token, or at minimum a handful of mainstays?

How can, or will, so many hundreds if not thousands of coins/tokens be relevant and/or needed once crypto is the main form of currency?
