#457Yes...it’s an exchange so liquidity on smaller markets is a issue at Times and like all books timing is everything..but there market makers do offer....what I do is enter the team name in search so it lists all open markets instead of clicking on live tab where it can be more confusingComment -

I processed a PO at 3:23 PM Eastern and it's not even listed on Blockchain.

I guess I'm not considered a priority?
What constitutes a priority??? Is it the Bitcoin Network unclogged???? Or just a way to screw a client over asking to give up more funds?

Fairlay in the Q/A section claims you should only use the Trollbox to ask simple customer support questions (which I did.) It also states you will be charged a fee if your questions are excessive and/or if you have to email customer support.Comment -

I don't even need my PO now. Just fukking sucks. Opportunity to exchange BTC flew by.Comment -

#471I would send messages via support chat the next tab on top not to troll box...that way u will have direct conversation and its saved privately...or ask them to cancel it...give them a chance to fix though as u know the drill...any issues they have always fixed...
Oh God lol...i saw they sent it post....ure so funny money...lol made me laughLast edited by littlekona; 02-12-18, 06:00 PM.Comment -

#474Why should he have to? Do you realize how much electricity would be wasted generating a new complaint? Not to mention, he could spend those 45 seconds doing something more productive. For example, it's more vital to generate a 2 millionth post telling people to stay away from Fairlay than generate a 2nd complaint form and possibly get the Bitcoin back.Last edited by mrpapageorgio; 02-13-18, 01:32 AM.Comment -

#475So I have been on 9wickets too which I love for what it offers but Fairlay on the sports side is 100X better more markets the big thing plus for us smaller bettors Fairlay min wager is .01 mBTC where as the min stake at 9wickets(betfair) is 10 Euro....Also comparing odds in real time compared to pinny bet 88 fairlay is better by a few points in most cases...odds on fairlay and 9wickets(betfair) are about the same but fairlay has zero commissions..
SBR Admins...we are still waiting on a review of Fairlay plus also might as well do 9wickets pretty please
update us please SBR...Comment -

“BETG”
Hello, after few month fight to get my withdrawal without verify I have finally decided to send documents which they have asked for (ID+utility bill) and this was MISTAKE!
After they got it I got reply: "thank you. Please send us a very short video where you hold your ID document and a hand-written note that says "For verification of Fairlay account *username here*". Please send us this video within the next 24 hours, so we will be able to process your withdrawal.
Best,
Team Fairlay"
Now I am really p***d !! they are complicating it as much as they can!! the next step propably will be flight to the company and make cinema movie with them. !! WARNING THIS SITE DO NOT PAY !!
Please someone tell me which licensor should I contact (asked them also but don't know if I will get reply) because their site is now so unreadable... Thank you in advance.Comment -

#479This will never end. Fairlay stiffed betg. He shouldn't have to beg or plead or send a video. He didn't bonus whore or multi-account to circumvent limits. No one knows why betg doesn't want his identity out there but it's irrelevant.
For those backing Fairlay, post a video of yourself here with your name and address so that those who wish can turn this in to authorities accusing you of money laundering.Comment -

If you believe Fairlay cannot be trusted with information and would turn it into authorities to get back at a player, then I suggest you avoid this place like the plague.
I doubt they would do that. But it would be interesting to see how fast their business died if they did try that on someone for real! I'd guess them just making the threat has resulted in plenty of lost business already.
But I do agree, if BetG does not want to give any sort of ID info, thats his choice, but its a choice that means he is choosing to give up that money as well.
I guess that's part of the risk/game if you insist on remaining completely anonymous but still want to gamble at sportsbooks. Sometimes you are going to be faced with this choice. Very little sympathy here for BetG. Even though I think he should have just been paid and cut loose from the start.
Long story short. Whole thing leaves me not trusting FAIRlay to act FAIRly in the future. But also think BetG made his own bed and has to accept it being lumpy now..Comment -

But if they did shop him to some authority how do you imagine forumville would react? What would be the only info new people would be able to find about them via google?
They look like they made a rookie error here, but I'd think they are smart enough to not double down on the mistake..Comment -

#484Maybe he sent them doctored still images. Maybe they think video is more certain than stills. Maybe they thought they were being smart making it as tough/uncomfortable as possible. Hard to know.

Look what happened to U.S. Bank because they were sloppy in their AML procedures (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/go...rticle/2649217). Ya, Fairlay isn't a bank, but what company wouldn't rather be overcautious than under-cautious when these headlines come out and would likely have to spend a fortune defending itself even if it was innocent? I'm not saying what they're doing is the right, I'm just saying what could be Fairlay's motivation in this.
Overall, I would guess they are nervous about the situation and feel stiffing an anonymous Bitcoin user who won't identify himself to their satisfaction is a better option than worrying about having to defend itself if the feds knock on their door over this situation because it turned out this depositor was a criminal using their site to funnel dirty money and didn't do anything more than just block his account.Last edited by mrpapageorgio; 02-21-18, 03:04 AM.Comment -

#485no different then any type of funding fraud like using stolen credit card to fund....if i used stolen cc and then when asked for KYC refused and or sent fake docs then didn't comply with additional request any book would do the same thing....no book would pay me until I cleared it up and the burden is always on the player when fraud is suspected...Make sure you read the t/c's at all your books....bottom line is that BETG is only guy in 4 years they ever asked for KYC he is the only guy I know that deposits and withdrawals to a gambling account and does not wager too. the guy cant follow a simple request from SBR posters and you trust him?....Fairlay is a trusted book and as transparent as the come....look at there cold wallet with player funds https://blockchain.info/address/1EV8...7KdcbE12pk4FwZComment -

Could also be a CYA move out of fear in case the feds do knock on their door since they said one of the issues was they suspected fraud (WTS: I'd lay money Fairlay has not sought a legal opinion on this from a lawyer experienced in fraud issues and is basically being overcautious). They may not turn over the video on their own volition, but if they get questioned, they can say "this is who we sent the Bitcoin to, now leave us alone."

So stiffing him would seem like a totally mornic move to me. "hey, we cocked up and are afraid of the feds, lets stiff this guy and see if that encourages him to keep it quiet". Nah. Red herring.
They are a CR registered company. The only AML laws they have to follow are any imposed under their business license there or CR law.
Do you see ANY other CR registered bookmaker doing anything like this?.Comment -

#487If they are worried about the feds, they would be way more worried about having it found out that they allowed him to wash money without a bet 40 previous times.

I think Fairlay had a good say about this in that thread over at bitcointalk and didn't say it was stolen or they were subject to US federal law or any of these things..Comment -
