betg - your problem is that you've been untruthful so people question everything you post.

Coinbase and every other exchange has the same rules as Fairlay. If Coinbase says that think you are involved in something illegal and wants a video, you would just say, "no" and ask for your money back.

Coinbase would then pay you the $9-10k and close your account. Fairlay should do the same.

Here's an email that I sent to Coinbase. This is prior to the closing of BTC-e.

I'm thinking of trading bitcoins at exchanges such as BTC-e. If I make a lot of deposits and withdrawals with Coinbase will that close my account? If I sell $10k worth of bitcoins at one time, is that OK?

They didn't reply back after that. My account remained opened for a long while. Later they closed my account and allowed me to withdraw funds.

Everything I have seen from fairlay has been positive and using them last 4 days I am very impressed with this book. Every book should have instant bitcoin payouts. And yes it is a problem that some of these books hold your money and have the stupid excuse that it is a processing delay. Sportsbook.com is notorius for that. Every book should copy what nitro and fairlay is doing. You as a player should have the right to take your money out when you please. It's like you placing a wager in at the MGM Grand casino or any casino in vegas and they come back and say you can only cash your ticket from Monday thru Friday before 3pm. It's BS IMO.

Please write them a short statement saying how you came about the money you have been depositing, and sign it, scan it and send it. Just a letter, nothing about 1000 bitcoin accounts or proof. Just give them a signed statement. If you have been telling us the truth here that should be very easy and not intrusive for you.

And a selfie like they describe is not unreasonable. If you dont want to do it with video just send them a photo holding your ID.


Dont ask them any more questions about it. Just send that. That is reasonable.

If they don't then pay you immediately afterward, we can deal with it then.

I cannot send them video anymore as the time for it passed 24hours after I have sent them ID and they requested for it within 24h and I denied because of no camera... they started their poema that I am criminal and when I will send video I am not criminal? what is this guys???? will I get paid then? of course not! like they promised to pay after I send kyc and they didn't pay... they also want me to prove "source of the funds" depositted to the 1 of my 1000 bitcoin addresses which I couldn't iven find in my history!! this is UNREAL TO DO and they know that.

@optional I have money from gambling online and I have sent them this information by email so if I write this on paper what will it change? this is so frustrating, I can try but they do not answer to my mails so this not gonna change anything. Simple, it changes the fact SBR will be more willing to help you out than if you don't. You came to this forum because you wanted SBR (and those on the forum) to give sympathy and help with your case. Optional is basically saying if you want SBR to intervene and help you with your case then do what he asks and send Fairlay a scanned copy of a signed statement (per how Optional said what to include in the statement) along with a selfie holding your ID. Then if they don't respond, SBR can then go to Fairlay and argue that what you did is a reasonable response to a KYC request and they should release your funds. If you don't want to do what he's asking then don't expect SBR to help you any further.

Basically, put up or shut up.

P.S. Personal commentary: if you're worried about retaliation from Fairlay for sending another email, I suggest including in your email to them with the scanned letter and selfie a statement that you're doing this per the request of SBR personnel, then they have little reason to retaliate. Also, since they likely know about this site, they will probably inclined to respond if they know SBR will be contacting them next if they don't respond.

Regardless, I do agree with Raiders... I don't believe Fairlay should have any right to hang onto your money... but furthermore... why did you delay or not agree with what Fairlay requested out of you? littlekona - what Fairlay did doesn't occur at other bitcoin books. Fairlay is very small compared to a site such as Nitrogen. A lot more scammers have run through Nitrogen than Fairlay.

Do you think there's a possibility that Fairlay decided to just stiff betg?

It's a pretty low-key smear campaign, since they have not said a word about this in months... I'd argue the reverse is true.

I've never stated that Fairlay plans to walk away with all player's funds. What they have done is confiscated money from an easy target.
