    Scalp Yankees +112 ??

    I just put 4 units on the Yankees +112 thinking that
    line should go down ans yankees could be favored
    tomorrow? Whats your thoughts on this?

    I think getting the Yankees or the hot public team early is almost always a good idea and creates options.

    Making a play solely for scalping purposes is a whole 'nother area. Interesting to try handicapping what the public will do (as opposed to the teams). We all do it to some extent based on gut feel, but I'll bet you (and I do mean you bro) could pick winners. I'm pretty spotty at that.

    As somebody (Mudcat?) said on the main board, there's at least some money to be made, but it's a sh*tload of work -- you're not just a handicapper, but a babysitter, too, sitting there waiting for the line to take a dump so you can swoop in and clean it up.

    Why the hell did Torre bring in Scott Proctor in the bottom of the 9th in a 3-3 game? As a Yankees fan, I would be furious, except for that I have the A's.
