Every once in awhile, you have to step out on a play and take a stand...I really like the under in the that cubs game. I could be dead wrong, but the market stayed at 7.5 all day or came back down recently. Either way, the whole world is on the over and the line moves support tge under. I'm sticking with the under for 2x...

Play #1

Cubs/Pirates under (7.5) 1.5x (Locked)

• Despite both teams coming into this game with five straight overs, the Cubs' six home runs on Tuesday night and Morton's shellacking by the Phillies in his most recent start, I really like this play and may add another unit tomorrow.
• Both pitchers have the capability to throw ground balls, keep the ball in the ballpark and get crucial double plays. Morton is second in the league with a GB/FB of 3.3, but at home it's over 4. Garza rocks a 1.65 GB/FB, but over 1.7 on the road. I don't expect six home runs on Wednesday like we saw in the previous game, because I think both pitchers force some easy ground ball outs.
• Both pitchers also have solid advanced stats. Morton has a FIP, xFIP, tERA and SIERA in the high 3's or low 4's, whereas Garza is a stud in the 3.1's. Plus, both pitchers have really high BABIP's over 3, but Morton is even higher at home and Garza higher on the road. This tells me both pitchers have been a bit unlucky in those situations and things will start to fall their way in the 2h of the season. With both pitchers having relatively low LOB%, I think we see better performances out of both pitchers over the next couple months and those solid performances should start Wednesday.
• Everyone will be pounding the over in this one based on both teams' recent big totals, however, the stats don't show that either team has really been hitting all that well over the last 1o games or so.
• Davidson is the ump assigned to this game and with his solid under lean and 63.5% strike rate, I'm rolling with the under for 1x. Good luck.

About to hit the hay...super tired. However, this play is all about fading Wong in this spot and supporting Beachy. I just don't think the Braves get swept in this spot. Perhaps I will drop some more notes on this one tomorrow. GL.

Off to work, so I cannot give you a full writeup but I am backing Baker in this spot and fading Pineiro. Many reasons for this and I will try to get you some more analysis before the game starts. Good luck.

Line dipped for a bit, so I jumped at -120 before it went back up. I like Staufer to stop the dodgers sweep. Good luck.

I like it...personally Im not playing it because I don't like losing that half of a run down to 8.5. However, without Konerko, cws can't score and floyd is hot right now (ever since he outdueled verlander). The sox are on a huge under tear, so you have that going for you as well. Good luck pk!

Yeah...that sometimes lends itself to the over based the familiarity between the two lineups and the starting pitchers. Generally, I always lean under in games involving Stauffer and any serviceable pitcher. In this case, I have an over lean. With that said, however, the lack of any line movement despite the majority of all best on the over points to the under. Nevertheless, I'm sticking with Stauffer in this spot, at home and in a game to avoid the sweep. I think the Padres light Lilly up for around 4 to 5 runs and Stauffer gives up a couple himself. I love the Padres in this spot behind Stauffer, but the total is a pass for me. Good luck if you play the under

Baum been one of the hardest luck pitchers this year if not THE hardest. Depending on the juice I might even entertain the Giants as well.

My local has it the same blumpkin -105. Public see's Baum and his losing record, and always overrates Phils offense. Sharp's will be all over the under imo......hard to say which sways it. If it did drop below 6, which I doubt, I would lay off myself...too much firepower.

Not sure yet...if I lock it in tonight in the next few hours, it will be because I think the line will move down. It's still a lean though, until I get my model results and look at the game more I can't say for sure.

About to hit the hay. Just as an fyi, I would have waited till tomorrow to lock this one in so I could see the initial line movement, however, I have a crazy morning with work tomorrow and I'm not sure how much time I will have to check the lines and whatnot. I will try to get you guys a writeup on this play before I leave for work tomorrow morning. However, I think Bedard is ready to go in his 2nd start off the DL and I like Masterson in this spot.
