thanks, BigDan. i would prefer to wait for ump info on Tribe game, but a little concerned that could result in my getting stuck with 8.5 (ump and line-up card - Tribe called up Chisenhall from minors today). only 1 of last 10 Tribe games has reached 9 runs, roof closed in AZ, AL team in NL park, and Dbacks have been a very underrated under team all season.

i think that there's a decent chance that Tribe line-up looks like this: Brantley, Phelps, A Cabrera, Santana, Sizemore, Buck, Chisenhall, Marson/Hannahan, Talbot. that's bad, and doesn't even include the potential for Shelley Duncan. Kennedy really only need concern himself with the first 5 hitters. maybe i'm just the kind of sucker that Vegas loves, but that screams under 9.

i don't blame you for liking Dbacks RL. Talbot can have a bad outing, no doubt, but the roof is closed and he doesn't throw a lot of fly balls. i'm concerned about Talbot's walks, and now Welke, but in their last 23 games, the Tribe has scored 0 five times and 1 run five times. Talbot's been decent lately other than the Tigers game, and no matter what, the Tribe shouldn't score much.

Covers has welke at 10-6 on overs this year, which site did you use? I have no idea how reliable covers is. He also has an above average strike %, that should indicate an under ump not an over

actually i use covers for umps. my mistake, i accidentally put in Bill Welke's number. you are correct, Tim Welke is 10-6 over this season. no matter, it wasn't part of my reasoning for playing. a lot of people consider him an over ump.

I know i've read that before too but his strike % is actually one of the highest. The over/under record for him lifetime is 78-57 but its obvious that is just variance as more strikes decrease runs not add them. If you assume o/u is a 50/50 proposition I would bet that that outcome out of only 135 trials is barely outside the first standard deviation
