I'm starting to tail Houston now. It's the best possible moment with the super fat plus money line. The chances of these guys winning tonight against Boston and Beckett are like 0.01%, but we'll get em @ games 4-6 if tonight goes as it should by the laws of probability.
Good luck, guys!
And thanks for the points, Prime1, VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Hope you're making with us!

hey guys, great job on this system...very well thought out and informative. keep up the great work! ive been reading this thread the past few days, and i was just curious if anyone has tried this using the martingale system instead of labby? if so, was it successful at all? thanks again and keep up the good work

System 1 has had 1 loss so far, so let's use lines of -100 (even) to see what effect that had on your bankroll.
Game 1: 100
Game 2: 200
Game 3: 400
Game 4: 800
Game 5: 1500
Game 6: 3000
1 Loss = 6000 lost to win 100.
Now, System 2 has had 4 losses, so for that system your losses total 24,000 lost. If you were following both systems this year, you'd have $30,000 in losses trying to win $100 initially. Now, the wins coming with the losses would offset this for sure, but to put it in perspective, you would have to win 300 bets (the system seems to average about 250 bets per system) to recover your $30,000 from 5 losses. Keep in mind we're only half way through the season.
So, yeah, labby this or don't bother.

Hope we have you on board next season then!
At the beginning I thought this system, played right, would simply provide a modest profit with a lot of daily action. I'm running different combinations of labby line strategies on this season's results and I think it might actually provide quite substantial profit, if tackled right. As I said before, this season, for me, is about getting data and in the next season's thread I'll try to give a rundown on pertinent strategies for this system. It's great that thelimit jumped on board, he's playing a traditional labby strategy with this system, so he will have some great data to share as well. I'm ~30 units up since I started playing (and I have 25 units in play after tonight), but I got it a bit wrong at the beginning as I was playing too many lines and changed my strategy twice a week, it could have been quite a lot more. We'll see how it goes and I'll share all my results in the thread.
Nice night yesterday, but I was counting on Houston as I played them on one of my Wallco lines as well.
Let's get them tonight, here's the update:

If the Yanks did not win last night I would be in a gutter right now. I jumped in on the LAD and fade LAA. Plus took TB in the JM V3 play and rode on with Fla and Hou. Then Bos blew a 3-0 lead to push my system integerity bet and to cap things off I played SF as a B bet from G's Pks. I play too many systems...maybe. But you expect when you make 7-8 bets that more than just one will win. Let's go HOUSTON!!!!! I really need that one tonight.

I had this problem as well at the start, playing too many systems at once is dangerous. I learned to never play more than 3, but usually just play 2.

Yep, too many systems will ruin the bankroll. I was running 4 and now Im almost starting over from scratch because of it. Almost tapped out and then just stopped. I am now running only 1, but am considering running this system on a 2 line labby and playing just A and B games or either playing the system out with a 6 line labby.

Houston has just had a massive top 6th scoring five runs. Took the lead, 5-1. I'm tempted to watch the game, but I'm in Italy now and it's 3 am, I'm barely awake.
Looking at the scores, Oakland and Detroit got the job done, so the fade wave hit the spot again, we had a triple-game-1 hit yesterday and games 4 & 5 went out of the way tonight! Great stuff. Let's hope Houston holds on and the Dodgers manage to come through -- it would be an absolutely perfect round of results for the system.
