Hey guy,
So I have been following this system this year since I cam acrossed it over the previous offseason. I have read thru the previous post and I dont understand why people are having so much trouble with viewing line hisotries. I personally use the scores and odds tab here at SBR. It shows multiple books opening and current lines. For example here is the main page for Thirsdays games http://www.sbrforum.com/mlb-baseball...ores/20110421/
The opening lines it shows I believe are the lines from 5dimes. If you click on money line next to odds history you will see the opening lines for multiple books including pnniacle which I think most of you guys are using. Some of you might be already be using this I'm not sure but maybe if I could help one person it would be worth it. BOL to all. Make some moeny.
Justin

I don't know how the rest of you guys feel, but today (Thursday) is one of those games where I say to myself, "I'm going to place this wager and I have no confidence whatsoever in it." Oh well . . .

feel the same way, golfer. 0-6 yesterday does not help. might just follow systems from here on out. yesterday was demoralizing.

Usually the ones I have the most confidence in,think is almost definitely a winner and bet more on, lose by 8 runs,30 pts,etc...

I play the -1.5 for a five-game chase and I readily admit that when I hit the "submit" button on a Game E play, it's the hardest thing I do all season long.

An A win . . . ding-ding-ding . . . running the season record to 9-0 but three of those (by my count) needing D games.
Saturday's play is Texas (-210, +100) vs. KC.

So once again I can not see the visitor line on opening line covers/pinnacle . So TEX is -190 BUT SD is opening at +183. So Philly could well be over -190 opening at Pinnacle. I have one thought though- Fading Philly on another system (the shut out system) is on game 5 now. I think that's as far as it goes. I personally will face Philly because the other system. Any thoughts?

At my site, Philly opened at -210, making it a narrow choice over Texas at -200.
I don't care for backing a road team giving 1.5, but let's face it, San Diego has a Class AA offense. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the Padres get shut out for the third time in four days.

@ honeyeater
original shut out system 1 is a 6 game progression, system 2 where we actually tail a team that shut another team out is a 5 game system
the play on this thread today should be texas.

slapshot, can you please post your link to where you are checking these opening lines? I use pinnacle and I checked covers for the opening lines according to pinnacle. Please paste an exact link to the page you were looking at to determine that it was philly and not texas.
thanks

there are obviously different ways to find the to find the biggest pinnacle opening favorite.
this is one way.
configure sbr odds to show pinnacle opening lines at the far left side of the screen. if we pick yesterday as an example.
philly and texas were close, but philly was the biggest favorite on sbr.
to confirm philly as the play you go to:
covers.com/sports/mlb/baseball-matchups.aspx - matchup for the selected game - lines history
the problem now was that you can only see the odds of the home team. no problem, you could have compared the san diego from covers to kansas odds at sbr and you would have seen that san diego had a higher odds.....confirmed...philly was the play.
