8 days without a win.....the longest winless drought the system had before this season was 7 days back in 2009.........this year we've had 8 winless days.......two times................in the last 25 days....unbelievable.

if the angels don't get the job done today...win or push....i will call it a season....if they win i will try to recoup a little bit more...the system usually gets hot after a cold spell.

following the strategy this game is scrapped and i will mark the as a no bet.

personally i will play this game despite the change....we still have "our" guy on the mound.

#1 team in the league philly going on a 6 game losing streak....at home....4 of them vs washington.

we only have 9 wins last 30 days....very difficult to be profitable with results like that.

i am taking the small profit and closing the season down today...very disappointing.

back to the drawing board to figure out if the system worth playing next year.

firstly I would suggest to stop playing the system at end of August from next season on - from my experience playing MLB in Sept is suicide.

that being said, it would be wonderful if you could continue posting the plays until season's end, if nothing else for tracking purposes. I would appreciate it and I'm sure others would also.

Regardless of whether you do or not, thanks on behalf of all that followed for running a wonderful, reliable, and to the point thread all season. Such threads are rare in SBR (refer JM MLB/Wallco thread and Atari's thread -haha!)

since i keep track of the games till the end of the season i can continue to post.

it's true....september is dangerous especially late in the month...lots of teams rest players like philly lately.
the plan was to stop at sep. 16th of all chases were completed.....unfortunately they weren't and things went from bad to worse.

i'm sure it's possible to find a work around to avoid these september landslides....need to sit down and look over the data and see what opportunities we have.

Hey Steve,

As soon as Sept 1 hits I go into shut down mode.

If i have an outstanding labby line I will play until the line is clear.

I actually do some a bit different. I take the highest favorite in the AL and then the NL and play 2 labby. Scooped 46 units labbying last season.
