#3678Sure, here's how I do it.
Just a disclaimer: this is not the only way to do a labby and it might not be the best way. Also I can't guarantee anything - it's just worked well for the whole NBA season and current MLB season thanks to Wallco's systems and JM plays
so before today's plays my lines were like
103 - 104
103 - 104
103 - 104
but there were 5 plays, so I added 2 more lines to make it look like this (my starting unit is $100)
103 - 104
103 - 104
103 - 104
50 - 50 - 50 - 50
50 - 50 - 50 - 50
Since I give each bet equal importance, I average out the 1st and last numbers of all 5 lines
so ( 103x3 + 104x3 + 50x4 ) / 10 = 82.1
now the labby looks like this
82.1 - 82.1
82.1 - 82.1
82.1 - 82.1
82.1 - 50 - 50 - 82.1
82.1 - 50 - 50 - 82.1
each match I bet to win $164.2
Here are the result for today
Pittsburgh RL (+163) +$164.2
Pittsburgh ML (-101) +$164.2
Washington ML (-121) +$164.2
Washington RL (+174) -$94
Baltimore ML (+149) -$110
Now my lines looks like this after today's plays
82.1 - 82.1 - 94
82.1 - 82.1 - 110
50 - 50
50 - 50
I'll show you how I do it after Wallco release his plays today. GL and bet at your own risk!
now my bankroll is up from $8000 to $14939 in 1 month.. thanks again to Wallco and Hagball!...well done Bugs!!..thank$ for sharing...

#3679Thank you to the non A-holes in this thread who treat others with some respect. If you wouldn't talk to me with respect in real life, i suggest you don't do it online. This comment is not directed towards you bugz, just the other dick in this thread who thinks he knows everything.
I like the way you do your labby, but I do have a couple of questions about it.
1) Because you have 5 lines running how do you know which bet goes on which line? For example, right now you have 5 lines, but say tomorrow there are only two bets.
2) My 2nd question / suggestion might just answer my first question. You said you like to average out the end of your lines so each bet is treated with equal importance. Do you do this before any of the bets each day?
3) Wouldn't it be better to average your entire line instead of just the ends of them? Does averaging only the beginning and ends of the line create less variance or clear the line faster?
I know there are people who simply try to wind up people. Let's just ignore them
1) to be frank, I don't have a rule on which number a line goes to. Just put it to any line you feel uncomfortable with. You can even divide the lines if you feel the numbers are too large - it'll just take longer to clear. No matter where you put the number, the aim is still the same, the amount you need to win back is still the same. So it's pretty flexible.
2) Yes I do it each day... I'll show you what I'll do today in a minute.
3) I'm not sure which way is better. But no matter how you average it, the total won't change and the aim is still the same. That's why I tell you I'm not sure if my way is the best way. I'm just showing you guys how I do it.
for today, there are 2 bets, I'll just use the first 2 lines - I could've included the 2 bottom lines too - It's up to you. If you bet more and lose your number will go up quickly. To play safe I use the first 2 lines
82.1 - 82.1 - 94
82.1 - 82.1 - 110
50 - 50
50 - 50
So I'll average out (82.1x2 + 94 + 100) / 4, it becomes
92.05 - 82.1 - 92.05
92.05 - 82.1 - 92.95
50 - 50
50 - 50
so my 2 bets would be
Washington -1.5 (+168) Risking 109.58 to Win 184.10
Baltimore ML (+135) Risking 136.37 to Win 184.10

#3680Labby System 101
So here is how it work, let's say ur bank role is 1000.00. Its is better that you use about 3% of ur bank role if u are playing. Many series or sytem at a time. The u divide your 3percent, into four. So let's say. 3%/4 IS 6 THEN U PLAY TO WIN 6 ON FIRST PLAY(A) B GET 2CE MUCH THEN U INCREASE TRU THE CHASEE THEN START OVA WITH NEW 3%.Comment -

#3683Great Job Bugs with last months money!!! Thats pretty insane.
I have another question for everyone. On betus.com they have a $500 Cap limit for amount of money you can win per bet. Is this the same for other sports books as well? I am just thinking about future bets, if line or something gets too big or whenever my bankroll grows.
I know I can call in and place a bigger wager, but i'm always worried about them saying i can't do it for whatever reason.
Is it $500 cap other books??
Thanks again for taking the time and explaining your labby bugs as well as .... sorry i forgotyour name, but person that said game 1/3 game 2/4.
Thanks JMD>Comment -

so $1k = $30 / $4
$7.5 / $7.5 / $7.5 / $7.5
and just use the labby line like that and an additional line if there is more then 1 bet for the day?Comment -

#3692I noticed Bugs that you still bet to win on + money bets, making your risk lower. This is something I pondered doing as well, however I ended up going with betting to risk on + money to bank the juice. I wonder which way is better, risking less or risking the same to win more...guess it comes down to preference. I might take that approach depending on how large my lines can get....Comment -

I can't tell which way is better... my math is not good enough to analyse that.
But obviously both way have their pros and cons.
Using my method I win less but in case of a loss, the numbers won't go up that quickly
I've been pretty safe for the whole NBA + MLB season up to now
With your approach of course you win more but you also bear higher risks in case of a series of losses.Comment -

Trying to see if there is a thread with SSS in SBR, there should be one ( hint hint ).

#3710Really glad these two series got to [C]. Looking at the overnight lines though and the Orioles are sending Zach Britton on the mound tonight, so I'm thinking we won't get a better price than +110. I've got +105 at bet365 right now
On the Sports System Specialists - they're using the 2nd and 3rd games of a series as their A and B bets; the system looks for a team that is statistically favored and lost the first game of a series, and then, if it passes the filters, game 2 qualifies as an [A] bet. Depending on the lines set by the books the player bets on the money line (as with TEX and ATL yesterday) or the plus run line (FLA yesterday). Obviously I don't know how the filters work, but I've tried using this principle last year and I ended the season cycle with a small profit. Overall I think it looks really good, if one is not afraid of the high juice - you're always playing heavy favorites or the plus run line and using the labby makes no sense - it might be profitable. It would be great to have those picks in this thread as well!Comment
