Rixsaw let me ask you something, please dont take offence.! You are probabily new to betting baseball.? You say you didnt have balls to tail, and that is fine. The bet was a over + 105 . Do you have more confidence if someone gave you a bet - 175, thinking because of high price there would be a GREATER OR HIGHER PROBABILITY OF WINNIG.?? iF SO PM ME.!!

I love SD here....I have a feelin they pull off the sweep (again). I was at the game yesterday and SF looked flat. Latos is a solid pitcher and Sanchez is streaky. GL

terp, I've been gambling a long time, but I understand what you're saying. To someone new in this, and even us old timers, +money seems too good to be true sometimes & keeps you away from a great play. I wanted that play at over 7.5 +105 but bookmaker changed it as I was making it to over 7 -125.

That -money just makes newbies feel better, like they've got a winner. We all know gamblers love takin' a favorite, because they are supposed to win. That's why Vegas is rich

Your above statement and the one to Rixsaw is why guys like you and profit are successful. Oh yea and if I win this week, I am sure to give my wife $100 and say I won $300. Thanks for the winner today CT it has been my first and only early game winner this year.

terp. This Chasin rookie has been hot. 15 IP & no ER's. They want -200 for him tonight, which is insane IMO. Mr.Profit has the ML as his POD, and 2 units on RL. If this boy is so damn good & hasnt given up any runs, why the hell is the total at 10? This play just looks scary

I feel some run lines today cappin. What do you think about Brewers run line +175 see any value there. I'm sure a lot of people will be on Philly and the books have been cleaning up lately.

When I look at how well both teams has been hitting and the ERA of both starting pitchers, my initial lean was under 7. Your play was over 7.5. Since I don't have any numbers that would back up the over, I lay off the u/o because my lean was less than 75% probability. For SD, I already have a play. When I saw you also on it, I doubled it up. In this case it worked out because SD was my POD.

I only look at the price after I have a lean on the game. So the example you gave is not really relevant. As a matter of fact, I hate anything over -150. And yes, this is my 2nd season capping baseball. This is probably the hardest sport to cap IMO. BOL today CT.

Rix, you're correct about it being the hardest, because of so many variables. Also, I, for instance, am a football capper and am comfortable betting spreads & find alot of value in dogs with weak lines. ML betting is a different beast and there's no cushion in baseball for little mistakes. A small fuk up by a player usually costs you the game. A QB has a bad set & even throws an INT & it is easy overcome. In baseball, a pitcher has a bad set it usually ends up in 2-3 runs scored, or if an outfielder misses a fly ball, it may put a man in scoring position with no outs, and these are hard to overcome. Alot more pressure on a pitcher than a QB imo, and the game gets away from them quicker

CINCY + 111(3X) Garcia vs. Harang. Can not argue that Garcia has been pitching well. But as we know that doesnt mean he will do it again. Remember going against Halladay 2weeks ago.? This is a case of teams going in opp. directions. St.Louis 2- 7 last 9 and Cincy 6-1 last 7. Reds have been getting great pitching from starters and as a result have not used their bullpen since Monday.! Harang has had 3 consecutive quality starts going 2-1 with a 3.37 ERA. The REDS are 10-1 last 11 vs. left-handed starters.And are avering 5.1 runs per game vs. them. On the other hand The Red BIRDS are 0-5 last 5 vs. ritht-handed starters. GL
