Ok. I know that CT looks in much more depth than what I am lookign at but here is what I come up with for tomorrow. These are the games that if you guys or CT looks at that I think have value. So here is what I like:
NYM/Fla Over 8.5 both pitchers have pretty high ERA and high WHIP
Pitt +190: Pitt has a better pitcher and better win/loss record against opponent for the scheduled pitchers
Minn +130: Much better stats for head to head for blackburn
Oak +130: Cahill is 3-0 against the Angels with better stats aand I am going with the big bats for the angels today don't show up tomorrow (CT thread from earlier)
CWS/KC over 9: poor era from both pitchers seems like a high scoring game

RED SOX +180 (2X) HUGHES vs. MATSUZAKA. - Looks like a easy Yankee win with this pitching matchup.? Phil Hughes has been lights out this season,youngest Yank hurler to go 5-0 since Whitey Ford in 1950.! He leads the AL in ERA(1.38) and OBA of .165 and has 39 Ks in 39 innings.! While Dice-K has been terrible. So what is my point to this pick.? Hughes cannot maintain this high level of performance. In fact the Red Sox just saw him 10 days ago and Iam sure they made their adjustments. As for Dice-K, his last outing on the 11th he pitched 7 innings gave up 3 hits,1 ER, ZERO BB and 9 Ks.!! So I think the SOX got a good chance of winning.And I like the price of + 180.!!....................GLComment -

like the logical attempt - im going yanks though... i feel its the opposite.. hughes isnt a flash in the pan, yankees dominant with the bats, the relief pitching, and for crying out loud its the friggin sox... they stink. no bats, decent D, and their pitching isnt impressing me. judging the beats they been taking... this could be yanks by 5 or more runs.

hey appreciate that my friend, and once again, its all about researching, trends, stats, and then sometimes thats all thrown out the window when gut instincts come into play lol. and please note im not sold 100% on this game, im leaning NY, but still feeling it out its the sox im not sold yet, seems they scarficed the bats for a good defensive minded lineup. good luck, and please continue with your insight! its always hard work handicapping.

TORONTO -105(2X) SLOWEY vs. EVELAND - The Jays have had their with the Twins going 11-3 over the last 3 seasons.The Jays have won 11 of 14 and hit 8 home runs in their last series with Texas.They average 5.8 runs per game vs. right-handed starters.Slowey is just 0-2 with a fat 6.73 ERA and WHIP of 1.707 career vs the Jays.Eveland ERA is high @ 6.71 due to a pasting by the R.Sox. Take that away and in his 5 other starts he has a 2.23 ERA. In one outing vs. Minn. he has a ERA OF 2.57 with a WHIP of 1.143.............................GLComment -
I suck at capping baseball, went 0-6-1 with my picks yesterday. Its the most unpredictable sport hands down. So I never argue with anyone on their capping methods, & sometimes you gotta take a chance with a big dog in the right spot. I just personally dont like this play, which probably means its a winner. The Profit - amen to that sir, not easy to handicap anything for that matter. this is why we're all here, experts, amatures, you name it, all insight and angles sometimes helps us determine which side to ride so to speak. i just started here publicly handicapping, did fair, but wasnt confident enough to post my picks the last few weeks, and i was out of town. my "rookie" handicapping here is listed on my spreadsheet. i will continue again this week. i always appreciate so many fine handicappers on these forums, and it helps with my decisions i've researched also. as always, may all our picks be profitable. thanks Capp also again keep up the good work!Comment -
