    Get behind early. Come back with a lead off double in the bottom half of the inning. Strand the guy at third base with Castro grounding out softly to the pitcher.

    Good to hear from everyone and see a lot of familiar faces.

    In case you hadn't noticed, I absolutely destroyed MLB the last two seasons. Up over 200 units combined.

    And in case you hadn't noticed, I have been absolutely buried since about mid-December by basketball. The gambling gods have worked me over something fierce.

    What does that mean for this thread? I have no idea to be honest. My confidence is a mixed bag right now; feeling great that another MLB season is upon us, because this is by far and away the sport I know best and watch closest.

    With that being said, I'd be lying if I haven't had a lot of confusing moments in the last few months that have made me question if I should even be gambling at all anymore. And if you aren't placing wagers with a winning mentality, you're not going to win.

    So I'll do my best to wipe the slate clean and rediscover my footing moving forward.

    Not really in love with the Blue Jays lineup wihtout Suanders. Dioner Navarro, Dalton Pompey, Kevin Pillar, Devon Travis don't seem that great 6-9. To be fair, though, i should probably do more research on these yonger guys

    Put my first bet of the year on Colorado. IMO, pitching matchups are almost equal, and hitters are even, maybe the edge to colorado. should be -120 isnteadof -160 IMO

    The confirmed MIL-lineup (http://www.baseballpress.com/lineups) has a career BA of .345 against Kendrick. Lucroy, Braun, Aramis und Scooter combine for 24 hits in 48 ABs.
    On the other side, Lohse's stats against the Rockies aren't too good either. The COL-lineup has a career BA of .281 against Lohse.

    I think the Blue Jays are a good play, but I would've wanted +135 or better.

    Phils are very intriguing at +108. They aren't any good, but anytime you can get Hamels at a + number, it's worth a look.
