The case of a hot team meeting a cold team. Padres my friends are on the downfall. Honestly I thought they would be done in August but they are collapsing now. They could not sustain that level of play all year long. Those players were all playing above their ability and it was only a matter of time before it caught up to them. Their young pitching is very tired and their super reliable bullpen is showing signs of wearing down also. Bye bye Padres, Giants or Rockies should take it.

May I ask why? I realize it's good value in what could be a 1 run game but the trends all favor ATL in this one. Specifically, the home plate ump loves atl and hates the Mets ... in a vacuum.

I guess there's the "avoiding the sweep" angle....
