Hey TA, I'm really trying to help when I say this. I know at the end of the year you go through your losses and determine why/how you lost those games. I was thinking most of the units you have lost are the result of somewhat "chasing" the teams that have been on losing streaks and pretty much betting them until they win. As I'm sure you know, baseball is a game of streaks and teams that are struggling usually continue to struggle and teams that are hot, or who are hitting/pitching well usually continue that trend. I was thinking if you would have done away with the moneybags betting on STL, PHI, and this series with the falling Padres, you would be up much more units. Of course, this is all hindsight and it's easy to say this when those teams lose, but I know if you didn't "chase" those teams you would have a bit more dough right about now.
Sorry for the rant, I just felt that that needed to be said. Something to look for for next season. I know your system is your system, but the "system" likes to chase and that isn't always the best idea.

It's going to be painful to try and not watch, but I feel like if I don't tail then they'll win and I would have lost all that coin on them without the chance to get it back.
Just wondering if you think there are going to be any plays in &

Painfully for me I started tailing at the beginning of second half and I only missed one game COL 10X (winner) which was posted at game time and books didn't offered live betting on that game. Therefore, yesterday's game busted my 100 unit bankroll for your plays (fortunately I have a separate bankroll for other plays). Now I realize your system is designed for at least a 300 units bankroll and I hope this post serve for newcomers to realize that before start tailing.
I sincerely hope SDG wins today and gives you guys a chance to recover some loses. TA and all on this thread for the remainig of the season, I know things will start going your way soon.

Richard seems to be a good one for today and De La Rosa hasn't really shown to be great this year. However, I'm still a little reluctant cuz I've lost a good amount of money on those Padres
Not to mention Carlos Gonzalez and Tu-Lo have been fukn shit up in that order. Those Rockies sure can put up some numbers fast, and the Padres haven't exactly been tearing the cover off the ball as of late.

Oh, I'm with TA all the way. Like I've written before, he makes his living doing this so something he's doing is working. I just wish I had started tailing in the beginning of the season instead of second half; it would make today much easier to handle.

I know I'm late, but I think it's probably between thirty or forty. If I were to play to win everything back it would be to win 56 units. I'm just trying to minimize my losses. That and I don't have ~70 extra units to wager today.
Hopefully this cashes today.

hes up 135 units and hitting 59%....what more do you want?
when you bet a full season, there will be ups and downs...

I was just saying that he would be up more if he instead of always trusting the system on his big moneybag plays all the time, if he thought about how cold/hot the teams playing are and did a little handicapping. It seems the big moneybag plays are always on the cold/slumping teams is all I'm saying. Something to look at for for next season, I guess. I know his system has worked, I was just trying to give a recommendation. He is up 135 units for the season, which is great, and I wish I would have been there for that. Fortunately, I got my sh!t together this second half and that is when he has struggled with his big plays. He still is hitting at a high percentage for the year, but his big plays are struggling at the moment. I'm not trying to sound like one of those guys that come in here after a cold streak and b!itch and complain, I'm just giving my thoughts. And I hope he has a great rest of the year, cuz I'll most likely be following.

Actually the 135 units does not count the 2 loses on SDG (more than 40 units). And yes, still more than 90 units for the season so far, but if you bet some games at 20 units or more you can achieve that in less than 5 bets. Don't get me wrong, I think he is very good, but if you need a 300 units bankroll or bet 20+ units in some games, then those 90 units profit are not as good as they look.

Tough loss... guys when you see the constant doubling of a bet that makes no sense you need to manage your own money... Some by this time of the year have quit baseball. Some of you that argued against this SD play and tried to warn others were told to shut up or whatever...
Well this is what info sharing is all about within a thread... TA has one of the few threads that I still look at this time of year... I also enjoy Vegas Gold and he went 0-6 this weekend. So as some of you know...and others are still learning... betting after Sept 1st is your own risk... I stopped my thread a little earlier this year to avoid these problems...
The problem is not the person picking the plays...it is just how baseballl has always been after Sept 1st... When you see units amounts going beyond your range in any system... and it does not fit your budget...at that point it is your own responsibility to back off...
GL next week...sorry for your loss guys... still enjoy the thread and TA will bounce back...but base your own bets on your own bankroll and stay within your means...
Also just a thought if people enter the thread as some have this last week warning against SD a team that has been in freefall for a while... They should not be immediately attacked...there are definitely times where someone enters a thread with info that may help...
Well TA will come back and win...GL guys...

The last two weeks plus have been great for fading public plays guys. Just look at the top 3 or 4 public plays in MLB every day and go the other way. I promise you will make money.

That is the reason a lot of chalk bettors (me included) stop betting after Sept 1st...always saves a lot of heartbreak...

I'm just not even surprised at the Padres. The first season I tail in baseball, and I happen to tail TA, and his system calls on a chase of the Padres. Not a bad call considering they're in first place and they had the best record in the NL at the start of their losing streak. Then for some reason they manage to extend that losing streak to the longest by a first-place team since 1932! Now, considering I've been burned by them to go along with the Cards, I also hope the Padres don't make the playoffs. I don't think any teams in the NL West are nearly good enough to actually do anything to take that spot (look at the Giants, only managing to go 5-5 during this losing streak), but I really hope someone steps up to knock the Pads out of it.

If any team from NL West make it to the playoffs you know what team to fade. Simple as that
