Not hedging on my 3U Giants series bet, though I'm not 100% confident in it, either.

A rare total play for me tonight:

    StL/SF under 6.5 +100 (1U to win 1)

1-1, +4.7U today (cash SF series bet)
    21-15, +29.42U playoffs
    473-540, -27.38U season

My goal was to wipe out most of that horrific number in the postseason alone. I might not get back to even, but I've chipped away over half the deficit in the past few weeks.

Thanks. There's a reason I didn't. I've been warning everyone on Detroit that this is going to be a dogfight for them (at best).

Was busy tonight and didn't get around to betting anything. Was going to take the Giants +1.5 but just passed. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out from here. Had a bad feeling the Tigers were going to be rusty after the long layoff. These players are lucky to get one day off a week for six months straight and now this?

I think Fister comes through for the Tigers tonight, but it's a risk. Really don't like where the series price sits -- very telling. About 15-20 cents higher than where I thought it would be.

Probably Going with the under 7 tonight.

Pinny offering over at plus money, compared to other books, begging people to take the over despite the majority being on the over. Big score yesterday also helps. Both TT's juiced to the over as well.

Fister should dominate as giants haven't faced him, and I believe they wouldn't throw bum out there unless they really felt comfortable with the mechanics they supposedly fixed.

    Thoughts?

That's how I see it happening. Not promising anything, but I think it's the right play.

    DET -115 (1.15U to win 1)
    SF TT under 3 +105 (1U to win 1.05)
    SF/DET under 7 +100 (1U to win 1)

Word. I'm on the same except the TT. Good luck.

Good call on the team total. I went with no score in the 1st inning instead of the team total. Would have been a sweep if the tigers would've won. Slow money is better than no money.

Thanks Hotnicks. Man, what a pathetic offensive display by Detroit.

A word to the wise in the future: anytime Pinny is juicing both TT overs and the game TT is under, the game under cashes a lot. I would've played it for more, but I'm horrible with totals. Even I couldn't mess this one up, though.

You're right, pathetic. Although, I think if fielder doesn't get thrown out at home, it changes the dynamic of the game. Fister would have came out sooner and they could have gone to someone other than smyly.

You're right, should have played it for more. I see what you mean about the TT's over being juiced while the game under is being juiced and i agree. Problem is I can't see the TT lines at pinny since I use a local and I'm not sure where they get their lines from.

I'll pop back in here for game 3 and see what's up.

    Two words: Gene Lamont.

Two more: unemployment line (or at least, that's where he should be).

Not really sure what to think about Game 3. Vogelsong pedestrian on the road, but he's a red-hot pitcher. So is Anibal. Remember, though, that the Giants know Anibal well. He's not the most dependable guy in the world, either. I'd personally like to see Scherzer throwing in this spot.

Juice will make it almost impossible to take Detroit, but I'm not sure I can trust SF enough with Vogey away from home.

Lol I take it you don't like him? Well that play changed the game in my opinion.

As far as the game, I don't know man. Everyone is counting the tigers out already cause the first 2 games. People praising the giants but, haven't they only done what they're supposed to do, which is hold home court? Giants gonna get a lot if public love at plus money, perfect for the books in this situation.

Well that sucked. Should've bet the Giants so I at least could've made some money tonight. What a frustrating series.
